@2dimplzs – I feel you, but one thing. Just like we are stereotyped on TV as all being buffoons (as you put it), the average Italian doesn’t necessarily have to live like these fools. As they do in our shows, they pick out the best FOOLS to represent the whole race. So I don’t think the average Italian lives like that. But I’m sure a lot of Italians can’t help it (just like black people) but to follow the stereotypes they have been taught to believe represent them and their race. One lesson from this show – others can realize our feelings on what it means to be stereotyped by others actions.

Based on the article someone mentioned above on him being sent to one of NY “rubber rooms” for teachers who are under investigation for incedents, he not only ended up getting away with a light sentence but now the taxpayers of NY are paying him his normal salary to sit in a room and do whatever all day. They did a huge story on 60 minutes about this. Teachers spend years going to this room everyday rather than work and get paid their salaries. Some play on laptops, play cards, stare at the wall…etc…just silly that he commits this horrible act and gets a slap on the wrist from the judicial system and his workplace…
