I agree, we should not be hatin on these kids because they want to independently make their own name and their own money. Honestly that diggy mixtape is some lame shit. The boy is trying to be someone he is not and never will be. I cant see him becoming a huge hip hop artist and Im not hating so save that shit.

I am a grown woman but would by the kid’s album. I heard most of the mixtape on the internet and the kid truly has skills. His lyrical content is age appropriate and he does address the spoiled brat topic in several verses (and does so pretty well). I think he truly has a bright future in the entertainment biz…unlike his big brother who just needs to seriously sit down.

I love old school hip hop. Diggy’s stuff isn’t bad. As for “pimping your kids”, if they have genuine talent and have sincere interest, then go for it. As for “building your reputation on your parents”, Miley Cyrus made $15M last year. Billy Ray Cyrus ain’t complaining and neither are her legion of fans. Will and Jada’s kid have acting credentials already. Liza Manelli is Judy Garland’s kid. Drew Barrymore’s parents were in the entertainment business. Angelina Jolie took after her father, and the list goes on and on. If nothing else, Diggy will have college money in the bank (Not that money is an issue for them) or start up funds for a business, and won’t have to worry about retirement. This is nothing but going into the family business, and other people do it in other industries all of ther time. The problem comes in when it becomes exploitation, and that remains to be seen in this case. Your family might get you an interview or your first job, but if you have no talent, you won’t get much further.
