Whenever someone speaks ill of Islam, the responses always say that Islam is not this or not that, but what we see is something different.

For me, at least, Islam is scary because of the group mentality. Christians do wrong too, but not in mass. Our relationship with Christ is a personal thing and while God gave us commandments to follow, we do not have a group mentality. When we become Christians, we keep our own names, do not have to change our style of dress, make pilgrimages etc.). Tolerance is how we can all live together in peace…and again from the glorious history of Islam…when Crusaders were causing mayhem in Europe and killing other christians accused of hertics (unitraions) who didnt adopt the trintiy were massacred, Chritsians and Jews were living in peace…Spain (Andalus) were muslim leaders even ranked jews as their ministries, and lawyers…

There is so much info out there with no credibility. Just because you quote people with islamic names doesn’t mean the info is correct. If you are looking for facts it is necessary to do actual research and read texts from credible scholars.
I ask you this : who was the first person ever to recite the azhan – call to prayer. If Islam was a racist religion, why than would such an honour to go a African man?
