  • Jack Tripper

    R.I.P to Pac..He has influenced so many wehter it be positive or negative he had and has power. I remember my son who is too young to even feel Pac’s mucis being inspired at a time.

    I remember this fool wrote 2 CAP (not PAC) across his chest in permanent black marker.. ok he was looking in the mirror and was 7 too hiliarious now but then I beat that ass. Today though my son at 15 is a true poet and still LOVEs PAC!

    I mean what does Biggie have to do with anything? That is like somebody always bringing up Beyonce in a convo that has no relevance.Let Pac get his shine on even in death Gosh Dayum!

    TO LIVE AND DIE IN LA THAT’S THE PLACE TO BE! Geah!

  • sxyQblondie

    @Ro Ro

    @ sxyQblondie… what did you wanna hear?? I think that was a good song to post. It’s nice to hear something positive and not so Rah Rah all the time.

    Grow up and get some sense would ya. It ain’t all got to be gangsta.

    IT IS OBVIOUS THAT THAT YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHO YOU ARE ADDRESSING, AND FURTHER MORE, DID NOT TAKE THE TIME TO PAY ATTENTION TO MY POST. YOU MAY HAVE READ IT, BUT YOU DID NOT PAY ATTENTION. SO I’LL TAKE IT SLOW ON YOU MMKAY? FIRST OF ALL, I DID NOT REQUEST ANY PARTICULAR “SONG”. I SAID (IN MY OPINION) I BELIEVE SOMETHING ELSE COULD HAVE BEEN POSTED. HOWEVER, FOR YOU TO “INSINUATE” THAT EVERYTHING DOESNT ALWAYS HAVE TO BE GANSTER, INSINUATES THAT YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT KIND OF ARTIST TUPAC WAS, AND YOU ASSUME THAT EVERYTHING ELSE BUT THIS SONG WAS GANGSTA. SEING AS I NEVER STATED WHAT WOULDVE BEEN A BETTER CHOICE, THUS LEAVING THE DOOR OPEN FOR WHATEVER. LEADING ME TO BELIEVE THAT #1, YOU NEED TO LEARN A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT THE MUSIC YOURE ADDRESSING ME ABOUT. #2 YOU NEED TO BROADEN THE CAPACITY OF YOUR ATTENTION SPAN AND PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT SOMEONE WRITES BEFORE YOU GET TO TYPING AT FOLKS. #3, YOU SHOULD PROBABLY STEP THE HELL OFF, AND NEVER EVER EVER EVER COME AT ME TRYING TO SCHOOL ME ON JACK. IT ISNT IN YOUR BEST INTERESTS. I DONT DO NET’ TOUGH DISPUTES MKAYY? NOW YOU GROW UP, GO AND GET YOURSELF A FEW PAC ALBUMS/CDS, LISTEN AND PAY ATTENTION, STOP LABELING STUFF YOU OBVIOUSLY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT (BECAUSE ITS OBVIOUS THATS WHAT YOU DID) AND HAVE A NICE DAY.

  • sxyQblondie

    @bree

    I DONT REMEMBER THEM DOING SO EITHER. I WAS A BIG PAC FAN, HURT ME TO MY HEART WHEN HE PASSED. BUT I WAS AN EVER BIGGER BIGGIE FAN.

  • S.D.

    Anyways, I gotta say I miss Pac everyday I have to turn off my radio.

  • CHILLIN

    RIP BABY!! HAPPY BDAY YOU ARE MISSED !!!

  • Mocha1

    Wow, this song just brought back so many memories of when Pac was doin’ it big and showin’ folks how it was supposed to be done!

    Words that weren’t just words but had deeper meanings than anything that was being played back then and unfortunately anything that’s being played now. What a loss.

  • da truth

    I know why suge shot tupac he found out suge had a up and coming singer name danny boy on deathrow sucking him off for tracks Suge was the music mogal in hiding in hip hop….real talk yall. That was sum bull shyt. R.I.P 2pac the truth will come out soon.

So you are dismissed now go play in traffic… mzIthoughtIwascute but I looklikeacrackhead! LMAO!!

  • I Took My Glasses Off (I Did it Then But I’m Not Gonna Do it Now!)

    2Pac was to Hip Hop what Bob Marley was to Reggae: The Greatest(until the end of time)!

    I remember when I was younger, I Was like: “I don’t like this music, I don’t like 2pac, this ain’t my style, it sucks, Turn it off ni@@a”! It’s just because i couldn’t speak nor understand English at that time (I’m French)!…

    But once i got my skills upgraded, I was like “Putain de merde”!it was like another world. 2pac was speakin life with such an intensity that i never felt before in music, just powerful!

    Unfortunatly, ni@@a was already “dead” when i started to listen to his music (i don’t know why but i regret it)so he always been a legend to me…

    Ain’t nuthin’but some 2pac songs to get me in the good mood when shyt goes wrong!

    RIP PAC… I Hope I gone get at you & burning a fat blunt when i’ll pass too!

  • Bythesea

    I know the lord has continued to bless and keep you at his right hand. Continued rest in peace and Happy Birthday, know that you are truly missed here on this earth. But I got you Pac, and for those of you out there who don’t know and choose not to get with it “we aint ment to survive, cause it is a set up” “please, we all got to keep out head up” Amen

  • The truth

    I truly have emnpathy for those mourning the loss of this man. The man was a demon. His hateful rants and tirades laced with venom spoke of his true character. Many are blinded by stardom and his lyrical talent. I am not. No one deserved to be murdered in cold blood as he. It was cruel and unjust. He was not a kind human being . When he was shot 9 times who did he praise for keeping him alive? Not our creator in heaven but himself. Instead of humbling onself after such an ordeal, he was spewing negativity with sayings such as “Real Ni**as don’t die.” Not once did I hear him say thank you jesus for sparing me from death and giving me another chance. Instead of turning his life around after the shooting, he became meaner and more ruthless. Shouting and cursing people. Naming people and going on hate laced tirades and rants. His soul was lost and tormented by demons. He was an advocate of violence, spoke negatively of others, and incited drama at every turn.

    True indeed he spoke kind words with songs of Dear mama, and keep ya head up, but did not uphold to this kind of sensitivity concerning women. Just empty words while he abused women, and disparaged their character. Showing animosity and hatred towards them with his behavior.

    He had not an ounce of remorse for his wrong doings and made excuses for his bad behavior. He missed many chances to right his wrongs but refused to. This maybe the reason our creator in heaven refused to intervene on his behalf and save him from death after the last shooting.

  • Real Black dude

    Tupac R.I.P

  • DDub

    Much love

  • anonymous

    Does I’M JUST ME have anything else better to do than to type filthy lyrics full of sexually explicit trash. These words are degrading to women. Also violent in content. You need to readjust your thinking.

  • Britt

    Happy Birthday to one of THE BEST.

    @ATL

    Tupac wasnt the best rapper ever, heres the list of the best rappers ever;

    10. Scarface

    9. Snoop (but only when he’s with Dr Dre or Dre is producing)

    8. Ice Cube

    7. LL Cool J (early sh*t when he was bragging, not the new sh*t)

    6. Tupac

    5. KRS One (download “duck down, My Philosophy or I’m still number #1″ then you’ll know)

    4. Methodman

    3. Early Run DMC

    2. Tie- Biggie and Chuck D of Public Enemy

    1. Rakim

  • AngelycAries

    @ Its6amHoGetOut

    Where did you get that list?

  • http://yahoo Tenya

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY: I MISS U IN THE RAP GAME

    RIP

  • Nita

    @ Its6am, thank you for remembering Rakim — and then putting him number one? that’s truly old school.

    Snoop doesn’t belong anywhere near that list.

  • St. Boner

    Before his car accident, i think The D.O.C. would’ve gave LL Cool J and Rakim a run for their money. His first album No One Can Do It Better is still one of Dr. Dre’s better produced albums.

  • Dollars

    I’m 4 yrs younger than Pac, and damn near believed only HE spit the bible of life. When he passed, I was in the hospital pregnant, resisting labor cuz it was too early for my son to be born.

    I sat in my bed watching the news when he was reported shot. Straight sniveling, like a 2 yr old, seeing it all play out on the news. Calling my hubby like, “Say it ain’t soooo!” When I hit 26 yrs old, I seriously had a moment..I was older than him. It was a sobering thought, all I could do was drag my husband outside to pour out some likka for the homie Pac. I didn’t even drink, but it seemed required.

    RIP Pac, you are still deeply loved.

  • From Da Lou

    @ Its6am

    Is your list based on lyrical content or flow? If the former, you should to replace MethodMan with Nas. If the latter, replace him with Ludacris or Outkast. In either case, Tupac should be #1 on the list and MethodMan doesn’t belong on a best rapper list, period! (and I like dude) And, yes, DOC would have easily made the list for flow before the accident St. Boner!

    @anonymous

    Don’t understand why you are reading & commenting on this tribute blog if you don’t feel dude’s lyrics. Nobody is forcing ya. You probably would’ve broke out in tears had they posted the lyrics to GET MONEY! LOL!

    @Truth

    What you say is deep and from a certain perspective I agree with you about how he lived (and died) as he was surrounded by violence. But that’s what made him the best ’cause he was able to take the troubled world in which he lived and deliver it to us in such a way that we completely understood this man and his pain as he endured it. No rapper has been able to do that as well as him to date. You can not like him as a person and how he lived his life, but you can’t deny him as an artist (not just a rapper) and a lyrical genius.

    @Cateyes

    I, too had doubts about him actually dying at first as it seemed surreal. But after seeing those autopsy photos, I became a believer–bruh is truly not with us. The whole Makeveli concept almost seems like an omen now.

    R.I.P. Pac. Hope you have finally found peace…

  • From Da Lou

    Oh, I hate to admit it but Eminem should make a best rapper list for flow. That white boy got skillz. LMBAO!!

  • J0k3r

    @RICBLEU34

    Did u really just put KRS, Nas, Rakim, and LL before Pac and Biggie. They are all great rappers but they aint better than biggie and pac.

  • Nina Knows

    I love Tupac so much, this post brings tears to my eyes. I am still so hurt behind his death to this very day. He’s in a better place, no matter where he is.

    I hate when I go to the club, the DJ’s feel obligated to play biggie everytime they play Pac, or vice versa. Let these men, be as strong as they are on their own. If you wanna play Pac, play it. If you wanna play Biggie, play it. It aint hurging my feelings because I know every Pac song by heart anyway……he can not be compared. And Biggie was a great rapper, but that’s all he was, was a rapper. Tupac is legendary and practically immortal.

  • Its6amHoGetOut

    My list was compiled from my knowledge of hiphop, thats why i gave reasons for my choices, but i did forget to include Eminem.

    @Mustywalls,

    I know that youre some 220lb child rapist supporting stank heffa with a nappy ass weave and kids you cant pay for, thats all i need to know.

  • Its6amHoGetOut

    The DOC was good but not better than those artist ive listed. methodman does belong on the list its just the last people who he let produce his albums have given him weak ass beats (puffy)

    Check out this cut “dangerous grounds” the sh8t is 10 years old but i still play it daily.

  • Its6amHoGetOut

    @ dalou,

    sorry but Tupac wasnt the best rapper and shouldnt be #1, but thats just my opinion, prolific writer, but not the best rapper ever.

  • Neekie

    @From Da Lou You spoke the truth! I am thoroughly impressed with your true understanding of my favorite rapper of all time. I feel the exact same way.

    I never thought I could miss someone I’ve never met this much. He was so misunderstood…a damaged soul not unlike many around him. I wrote a poem about him years ago that is still dear to my heart. May he continue to r.i.p.

  • Nina Knows

    @Neekie……

    I feel the EXACT same way!!! Your post made me tear up again….I have never felt this much love and compassion for a person I’ve never met. Seems like his lyrics, and poems he was talking directly to me. and I know deep down that’s who really had Jada Pinkett heart, no matter how much she love Will. You can always tell there’s a special spot for Pac with her that nobody can touch!

    I still get major goosebumps till this day!

  • Nina Knows

    @ OPA-LOCKA……..

    I totally agree and feel ya on that. If you didnt like Tupac (i dont see how) But if you didnt…keep yo dumb ass moving.

  • Nsheppard

    Happy Birthday Pac! You will always be remembered. Still the best rapper. Those who cant relate to your music and your message, just dont know any better.

    Nothin but kuv for ya.

  • Nsheppard
