If they had not blocked the milatary votes in Fl 2000, it would not even had been close for Gore.

My guess is he didn’t want to alienate the other candidate in the hopes of having one of them help him in his own political pursuits.

I wonder if his endorsement is really needed or required at this point.

I agree w/ that. Al Gore would make one hell of a cabinet member. I want to see an Obama-Clinton ticket b/c I want to see Hillary go hard and McCain like she did Obama. But I just can’t forgive her for some of the dirty that she throw at Obama and I think Obama hasn’t either. But the Democrates are still going to push him to put her on the ticket b/c of the reason I just stated above. SMH.

A person doesn’t HAVE to do anything they don’t want to do. Alot of those Hillary supports are still going to vote for McCain.

Another thing. I also feel that the Democrates are focusing Obama to select Hillary as his VP b/c everytime a Democrate, other Hillary’s, name comes up that Democrate say they don’t want the job. I beleive alot of Democrats want her on the ticket b/c 1. They think Obama can’t pull those ‘white votes’ that he needs, 2. they think Obama can’t pull the ‘women’s vote’ in that he needs and 3. It will help him win those ‘battleground states and swing states’ Like Ohio, Florida, Mighian, Nevada, Indiana and so on.

Unlike a lot of folks who post on these boards, there are a lot of people who felt both Hillary and Barack would make great presidents. You have to choose to vote in a primary, and when your choice doesn’t make it to the nomination, you go with the next.

That’s how it works! They are SO incredibly similar in viewpoints, which Obama made a POINT of saying last night in Detroit…so why wouldn’t you support the one that makes it through?
