She’s popular around the world for her story as well as popularity for Britain’s version of American Idol so major props 2 her. As far as CB considering all the hate ppl shower on the guy I’m surprised his album sold as well as it did. Ppl are laughing about selling 102K? I would laugh at 30K or 60K but not 102K. Considering how many ppl choose not to buy CDs today and purchase songs I’m glad that Susan has shown that it is still possible to sell very well in this climate. Although let’s be real long gone are the days where an artist will sell 5 to 10 million CDs on 1 album alone.

This is why we are worse off than other minorities in this country.

no, I have no ill will towards him. I do think he should pay for his crime/mistake/bad decision but at the end of the day he’s human. my issue is with his fans constantly dissing, degrading and BLAMING rihanna for what transpired between the two. that and that alone is what keeps me angry at him. in fact after I listened to Rihanna’s entire album (Rated R) I felt more compassion for him, almost like I got a little glimpse of what it must have felt like for these two kids to go through that. I also paid attention when Rihanna said SHE wishes him well and wants him to move on and have a successful career…but then I get on these gossip sites and twitter and see her get torn down day in and day out…and it makes me angry all over again. I think he just needs to stop DEMANDING that people support him, or EXPECTING to have his career unphased after what he did and he’ll be ok. with his current attitude of entitlement and selfishness people are just turned off by him.

Chris sold way less than Rihanna’s first week sales.

Rihanna sold 181,000 copies of RATED R. She sold more copies with RATED R than her previous album GOOD GIRL GONE BAD which sold 168,000 in it’s first week.

Now Chris’ last album EXCLUSIVE sold 295,000 copies in it’s first week. He fell off big time by only selling 102,000 copies of GRAFFITI.

Now all the people who are saying that Rihanna isn’t selling is DEAD WRONG!!! Do your research! LOL!

I’ve always said its too early for both of them to be releasing anything right now. But by the looks of sales Chris should’ve waited.

One week does tell how successful an album maybe especially during these hard times! There is not many album that are doing real big these days. If Alcia sells 350,000, she’s stills not selling like she use to sell! Album are just not selling when you can go on the street cormer and get 4 for 20.00!!
Then again, some albums start off slow and then pick up with sales in 2 or 3 months later!
Just because an album sells well that doesn’t mean it was a great album. People buy records off of the person’s life and image! Please believe it is not solely based on good music and talent! Yes, there are some people that can sing,but album isn’t all that good!

Come on people, stop knocking everyone just because you don’t like them.
Why can’t you just buy the music that you like, and wish everyone well?
As far as people constantly asking who’s buying Susan Boyle’s CD goes, who the heck cares, obviously a lot of people ARE buying it. Just try to be happy for her and don’t let it get you all worked up.

The deluxe version of Chris Brown’s Graffiti album is actually pretty good and I am not one of his fans, never have been. It a musically diverse album.
