My bro went to jail and my parents didn’t go visit him. My Dad told him that jail was not in his life plans and he had other children that were doin what they were suppose to do. My Dad said he (Dad) didn’t do anything in life to be sittin up in a jail. Well, when my bro got released he went back to school and is now an Optometrist. He said he realized that if he didn’t stay out of prison there was no guarentee that he wouldn’t be forgotten. Da Brat is an azz and JD should spend his $$ on youngins that are doing what they suppose 2 do!

Jermaine is flodging- he need to go see that girl. All the money the Brat has mad him for ghostwriting all those BowWow albums. Jermaine is trying to make up excuses because he’s embarrased about being called out.

@Cole Brown my bro and Dad are on good terms and my bro didn’t blame him. My parents are not that old so they provide for themselves. None of us are taking care of them. And actually none of us went to c my bro while he was locked-up. My Dad didn’t want us to make it comfortable for him. It seemed to work so whateva. I guess if I was a parent and my child went to jail I would be broken hearted. But jailbirdz seldom think of how it affects the family they leave behind.

I agree wtih your comments 100%. My story is a little differnt but arrived at the same ending. My father went to jail when I was a child and I was forced to visit him for years! To this day I resent those visits and I refuse to visit ANYONE in jail or prision.

I have a grown son now and I let him know that if he ever gets into trouble, I will not visit him! Making children visit their sorry a** parents and relatives in jail is the most abusive and degrading to their normal mental growth that you cannot even imgaine.

My father went to prison when I was 14. It was his first time in trouble with the law, he was there for 7 years. I never went to see him. He’s been out for 2 years and I’ve only seen him twice. I don’t regret not going to seee him.

@thoughts, I use to think my Dad was mean b/c he didn’t let us go see my bro but I understand now. My bro is a success story and he thanked my Dad for delivering tough love. My parents didn’t make excuses for him and since he was big and bad enough to steal cars then he was big enough to go to state prison by himself. Pops wouldn’t even accept the collect calls. However, I know my Mom put $$ on his books and sent him stuff. My Dad is no joke, he was setting it up so the rest of us would know that being a thug wasn’t going to work out to well for us. U best believe we took note at how he treated our brother held captive by the penal system!

@Shawn, I here you! Brat needs to stay exactly where she is.. She’s nothing but a problem from day 1. As for Lisaraye, can’t stand the moe! She should be the last person to talk about anybody! I had seen for myself the young lady that was hurt behind Brat. If I was her, I would make sure that any monies Brat made going forward would be in a check to my house!

I agree with the girl who told the tail about her brother who got his act together to be an eye doctor. I tell my boys all the time that I am not visiting them if they end up in Jail. I told them I don’t do jails and I mean it b/c I did nothing to end up in one. I had a girlfriend at work whose son got a robbery charge. She said it was hard and she cried many nights but that she warned him and he had to learn his lesson the hard way. She sent no care packages,and made no visits. When he came home he’s been straight and on the up and up ever since.She said she’s proud of him. Said he told her that he didn’t like the lonely feeling of no one being their and doing his time alone and that being forgotten wasn’t part of his plan,never again. Good for him and all brothers that get it I say.
