Um, can we take a second and think about this? No matter what he thinks, Souljah Boi is not really a rapper. Though I think the fact that his music is even mentioned alongside Atlanta ARTISTS, I’m actually grateful for the kid. HE MAKES MUSIC THAT YOU DON’T MIND PRE-TEENS LISTENING TO. I’m sorry, but if he’s making goofy dances and comic book references, and the kids are eating it up– instead of planning on being gangsters as soon as their training wheels come off the bike–I’m all for it. All you hip-hop ‘purists’ who are so enraged by this brand of non-rap may in fact be the reason why kids are so dayum bad these days.
