Here’s another milestone for ole Weezy’s scrapbook:
“In a music industry climate where album sales are on the decline, rapper Lil Wayne managed to go platinum in just one week of having his third solo album, Tha Carter III, on the market. The album sold 1,005,545 copies since it’s July 10 release, according to AllHipHop. Official numbers are expected to be released by Nielsen SoundScan later today.”

It’s not a miracle, Lil Wayne’s flow is sick. It’s almost scary the way he murders tracks on the Carter 3. And this is coming from someone who doesn’t listen to much rap at all.

The album is straight trash. He never stays on topic and just raps about nothing. This dude is not even one of the top 10 rapper alive let alone the best. He’s good on everybody else’s tracks. His song writing skills is straight doo-doo.
I just want to say also that I like this CD. A lot or people don’t for whatever reason. I think people were expecting it to be like the Carter 2 and it’s not. I think it shows his growth but then too some may take it as him crossing over or something negative. I think Wayne may be in a different chapter in his life and he cannot talk about the same thing over and over again. He’s got a zillion mixed tapes. Like Jay-Z what else can he say to us? LOL

Supporting this kind of misogynistic music is only harmful to our children and should be banned. That is the only way to force these artist to be more responsible and clean up the filthy words.
