Why is this site so homophobic? The sad thing Im sure all of you have someone within your family who is gay and has been terrorized by someone else because of it. I’m just wondering those that are using the Bible to defile homosexuals doesn’t it say anything in the Bible about hate and not accepting others? Doesn’t it say in the Bible also that one sin isn’t greater than any other? Seems that many of you pick and choose what’s important to follow in the Bible. Whether you like it or not none of you have the power to judge. I believe everyone needs to be treated fairly and equally. Especially as minorities who have been oppressed why would we want to oppress others? Interesting.

How is it arrogant when Jesus quoted from the Bible himself? Didn’t the Pharisees and Sadducees call him arrogant too?

Jesus said the knowledge God holds out is for anyone to get a hold of. So if that’s being arrogant, take that up with God himself.

He extended that invitation to all men. It’s up to you to decide if you really want to understand it as His Word to you personally.

Reading the bible has nothing to do with it. I can read anything and see no proof of it, but when I have manifestations of words I shared privately with God, I can’t deny that. If you can believe in the nightly news without being part of the actual story, why not believe, no excuse me, how come you don’t KNOW that God is real, and that Jesus is real.

Also you sound embittered against people that believe in God. Strange, but not really because the devil also was embittered. His job as God’s personal ‘weedwacker’ is to turn people away from God, one of the devices he uses is to try and make them think that the bible is a book written by ‘madmen’.

I see buddhists, muslims, mormons, etc. even devil worshippers and I see no reason to attack and denigrate their beliefs, I KNOW what’s up, I don’t need to fight them, Jesus wins…but it makes me wonder when people who claim that the bible and God are fake need to attack people who know about God, what or WHO is compelling you to fight against someone who’s not there. ok, let’s try this. to all the people quoting the bible and defining which sin is greater and which one will send you to hell the fastest, try getting your life in order and making sure you are ready when the time comes. some of you sisters might need to take out the micro braids and get rid of the louis and coach bags. if no sin is greater than the next, you will be in the same hell you condemn homosexuals to. read 1 corinthians. and to those who go by the new testament only, i thought gods word was gods word, regardless which testament it’s in

@drenk some of these people are fools and their inability to see the error of their ways and that there thoughts are a clear contradiction of the Bible isn’t worth debating. Those perpetuating hate will be judged on their day as we all will be so you’re right it makes no sense to respond to the foolery to which they participate in.

I make it a point to not judge anyone’s journey because I don’t want mine to be judged. I’m just shocked that it’s easy for (so called) CHRISTIANS to perpetuate hate while in the same breath praise GOD. Well it is what it is and I have to accept their ignorance as that – THEIR IGNORANCE.

amen to dee…put the bible down (jus for a lil bit) and pick up an educational book. white ppl put this in our ancetsors minds years ago and it has carried us through so i wouldnt say its a bad thing to be really religious, i just think when you take it to a point where you attack someone else who doesnt feel the same way or sint living according to your beliefs you get aggressive, then there’s a problem. and the bible is hard for me to decipher through because it is fact that King Henry VIII made changes in the bible and i’m at least 90% sure another “king” did as well. so the bible has been tampered with over the yrs. this isnt something i was looking for, i was just reading the history of henry viii and that was a part of his story. it was only a smal chg however it proves that man wasnt above changing the holy text. either way worry about your own judgement day and while here on earth lets all do each other a fover and read other books. preferably history. you really run into some unexpected ish reading about our history…
