Kendu has had a roving eye for quite some time. I’ve heard this about him before. It’s sad when a sista pulls him UP, gives him access to her wealth, her career trying to make him her equal, and then he uses the power that he only has because of her, against her.

Anyways, like I had mentioned in my above comment, Mary J. Blige should know better. As I was growing up and listening to her music (especially in the 1990s), she always seemed to want to carry herself in a better light. ::sigh::

I hate to say it, but it’s true. I think there’s a marked difference between music from a “Sad” Mary versus “Happy” Mary. The “Sad” Mary makes you feel as if she’s speaking directly to you when you’re crying over a heartbreak. I believe she recorded “My Life” during one of the most turbulent periods of her life, and it’s still one of my favorites from her.

I think in recent years, MJB has appeared to be at her most content, but part of me has always thought that she still struggled with her self-esteem.
