“On Wednesday, the wife of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama took a turn as co-host of TV talkfest ‘The View.’ When the show’s audience saw her breezy, black-and-white, high-waisted print dress designed by Ricco, they had to have it. Virtually overnight, the dress all but sold out at the White House/Black Market boutiques that sell it for an affordable $148.”
No doubt Michelle is First Lady material – especially with her Jackie-O styled trendsetting appeal.

He actually does not feel he’s done a good job until he has offended a white person enough for them to get up and leave. He wrote for Richard Pryor and discovered more comedians I could name in this post. He also was the main writer for the Chapelle show (he did some cameos) until Dave got the money and cut Mooney out of the deal. Anybody who hasn’t seen him, check him out in “*****yzing White America.”

Dave Chapelle could have and should have been a bridge for Paul Mooney’s uncompromised access to the mainstream and mainstream dollars. I am shocked to hear this. I totally agree, girlfriend !! Not much was even made of Whoopi’s embar*****ing verbal faux pas except one celebrity TV news magazine. I think it was “Extra,” or “Entertainment Tonight,” or “Access Hollywood.” One of those.
Anyway, I absolutely cringed when she said that. It was inappropriate and did nothing to really add to the discussion, but make Whoopi look like an insecure *****, who obviously has issues with skin-tone. And it made the entire panel uncomfortable.
In addition, it was ironic coming from her indeed — she who comes on that show everyday looking like a sloppy wannabe man and not giving a damn about how she’s perceived as a woman.
I watch “The View” everyday and heard her talk about how she doesn’t use deodorant, talks about her bodily functions, and the whole shebang. And let’s not forget her cursing on live awards shows that she has hosted in the past where she made people cringe.
Also, no one will ever forget that infamous little Friars Club fiasco when she made vulgar jokes about having sex with who she was dating at the time, Ted Danson (in blackface) to the point where she embar*****ed the hell out of then NYC Mayor David Dinkins, Montel Williams and others to the point where they had to leave because they were so offended. No one has forgotten that mess.
So, keeping that in mind, she’s a fine one to point fingers at those unfortunate women. In my opinion, and I suspect others, Whoppi Goldberg is not the best representative of African American women herself.

You know that Whoopi was just hating because Michelle is an intelligent, elegant, attractive, well-dressed woman and Whoopi is not. You know how it is when you go somewhere and you know you look good–hair done, nails done, and your whole outfit properly accessorized and fitting to a T. There’s always some chic there with baggy, ill-fitting clothes who didn’t put any effort into her appearance and she will try to throw out a negative little comment or dig because you are making her look even worse. Well, that’s Whoopi in this situation. She had to throw in a dig about skin color. Michelle was looking fly and she made Whoopi uncomfortable. Whoopi is making enough money to do something about her appearance if she wants to.
