He purchased (financed) his home for $1.5 million a few years ago. Considering that the housing market is not doing very well, he would probably sell his home at a loss. Also, he could end up paying a realtor nearly $100k to help him sell his house. Basically, he would lose several hundred thousand dollars trying to sell this house. Financially, it makes sense to simply let the home go into foreclosure and keep his money in his pocket.

Credit is irrelevant to someone like Pacman because he signed a 4 year $13 million deal with the Cowboys back in April. This guy makes more than enough money to purchase homes, cars, etc. with cash. Trust me, I have worked in banking for nearly 10 years and rich people do this all the time. Only regular people, including myself, have to pay their bills on time.
