She might be the bad girl of tennis, but the Associated Press still named Serena Williams Female Athlete of the Year. It’s Serena’s second time winning that title; she also won the award in 2002.

    Serena was right, the judge was wrong. Now maybe she could have expressed it a little differently, however I think that she was simply overcome with frustration. That said, it does not negate the fact that the line judge was wrong. In a multi-million dollar sport like tennis an error like the one the judge made can cost a player like Serena millions of dollars, not to mention her ranking. So I can understand how she got upset.
