    I saw this and I was in England at the time this aired. From what saw these people had a clear psychological problem, they all went through something negative in life at a young age (usually school age) and could not move on.

    Not to mention rumours are this girl in the picture is a porn star, and porn stars have naturally have some kind of mental image on the whole….so she is not depicting any black person on the whole.

    This black girl had a slimmer nose than most white folks anyway, most white people have big a s s honkers and nose jobs are rift in their community.

    It is only in pure white cold scandinavian countries where you will find white people with small straight noses and that is because one naturally needs less air to breath in as it is less humid.

    Then you will find white people around the rest of the world trying to look like that scandinavian image….unfortunatly there are some black freaks who want thus image also.

    These people have serious mental issues. The joke is in the UK that so called African nose she thinks she has would be considered white- white beyond belief. The new nose although narrower actually makes her look older. It’s also really sad what ideas that Asian lady is putting into her childrens head. However I can’t be too surprised or even blame some of these people because from way back to colonial days Caribbeans and asians- we call them in the UK- have always discriminated against darker ladies and still do. Its like it has been indoctrinated in them from slavery/colonial days and it never left them, to see black as bad- its sad if their own races do not accept them they how can they accept themselves.

    The other thing is its funny how europeans are slapping on the fake tan, dying on operating tables to get bigger bums, curvier shapes and inject crap into their lips to get thicker lips just like black people. I guess we always want what we can’t or don’t have.

    Oh and that black girl is not serious her biggest worry is walking into waitrose with her head held high- chav.

    Self hate is so sad. These three people are all blessed with natural good looks and yet they don’t see that. The show should have been called self-hating people who admired Michael Jackson not for his talent. BTW there is nothing wrong with plastic surgery to improve your looks, making you look better. but when you want to change your race. That has to be questioned. So far it can’t be done. Learn to love your self. White people get surgery all the time too, to get thicker lips, a rounder butt, and what ever the latest fad. Tanning is a million /billion dollar business, someone needs to tell that asian woman quick before she tries the wrong cream and destroys her naturally beautiful face.
    One last note. did you notice that these people were all self absorbed narcissistic people. Not one of them was doing anything bigger than them selfs. So caught in them selfs not their family but what people on the outside might think of them. Thats what makes this story so very sad.

    This is so sad. The reasons for the changes they want are are based on low self esteem. They shouldn’t look at themselves as being inferior. Maybe the way they look is the right way. Whose to say. You should never let anyone make you think you are less than what you are. The Asian woman should hold her head up with pride and think of all the advantages of having darker skin; like not showing age as fast, able to withstand the sun, firmer skin and a sense of pride that there are lighter skinned people who are paying tons of money to get the natural tan she has. I had a white friend tell me she wish she had been born black, because we age so well and she wouldn’t have to spend so much money trying to keep looking young. I thought she was joking, until her husband said she says it all the time and he knows she means it.

    I guess I get your point but East Africans are very distinct from the West African people that most of us in the diaspora are descendents of. Look at North Africa? I was watching this program on the Discovery Channel and it was talking about human migratory patterns from when people first left Africa. Africans from the Sahel, North Africa and the Sudan are closer to Arabs in the Middle East than they are to West or Sub-saharan Africans. Thats why I objected to your use of the word “us.” Their not apart of us even though we share the same continent. Many Africans are as different from each other as the Japanese is from the Philipino even though they are all Asian.

    I hate that people have the ‘white is right’ mentality! Don’t people know that their features that they are trying to fix can pass to their kids and so on?! Are they gonna tell them to have crazy surgeries too?! I think it’s wonderful that the world has different nationalities. Why be all the same race?! That’s boring! But ALL races have insecurities. ASIANS want to be taller and have bigger eyes, MIDDLE EASTERNS want smaller noses or whiter skin, BLACKS want straighter hair, and WHITES want darker skin.
