Remy Ma’s victim, Makeda Barnes-Joseph, is on a mission to get paid:
“In a lawsuit filed in the Bronx, Makeda Barnes-Joseph doesn’t just go after Remy, she wants coin from Remy’s music label and even the pizza joint where she and Remy were boozing before she got shot. She claims that Universal Music received ‘financial profit and economic benefit from the unlawful, violent and anti-social conduct’ of Ma. As for The Pizza Bar, Makeda says they kept serving Remy even though she was ‘visibly’ [drunk]“.
This chick has lost her mind. She’s suing every last one of them ho’s she believes is associated with getting capped. We’re surprised that she didn’t include the gun and bullet manufacturers in the lawsuit. It’s pathetic what people will do to get a dollar.

She retained a lawyer. The lawyer decides who to go after and he or she will go after every available dime if they are doing their job. I know a cat that got stuck up in a White Castle parking lot and sucessfully sued White Castle for not securing their property so it is doable. Nobody deserves to get shot. With that said, she was friends with Remy since forever and they grewup together. They were probably together all the time, knew everything about eachother, etc… She knew exactly what type of person Remy was and how she got down. She probably even knew she had a gun. In a civil lawsuit it’s accepted practice to include any and all parties involved. That way there are enough pockets to draw upon for damages. She was assaulted so she’s entitled to some compensation.
I don’t think the list is long enough for people she should sue. I think we need to add:
1.) All the pizza parlor employees
2.) The bullet manufacturer
3.) Any witnesses to the shooting that night
4.) The reporting press
5.) The entire hospital staff
