The dude on the right is Ralph… the guy who was singing the song, so of course he didn’t include himself in the song. Apparently you’re not a true fan of New Edition if this needs to be explained to you. In the song, Ralph was trying to explain that it was hoes before bros and that he was going to be with the girl and not hang out in the park until it’s dark with his boys anymore.

*clapping for NE and the King of Stage* Stop your hate!! Bobby looks exceptionally well in these flicks. I hope he’s on the “come up”. I love the original NE, but Johnnie G came in and held his own, so he was a great addition. M. Bivens and R. Tresvant were always my favs, but why in the hell does M. Bivens look like he’s about to perform w/Otis Redding or one of Smokey Robinson’s “Miracles”?? NOT a good look!

Obviously some people on here don’t appreciate “their” R&B history. I think people mistakenly diss New Edition for no reason other than to say they made music 20 years ago. That’s a weak excuse. I’m 30, so I’m kinda in between the young kids on the come up and older cats that I listen to when I was a kid. Being an entertainer isn’t just about vocal ability (but is very key.) You gotta have the look, the moves, etc. Granted New Edition wasn’t on the level of Boyz II Men vocally (how many groups were) but they where above average group singers. What young dudes fail to realize is that they were the first R&B group to incorporate the new sound of hip-hop with singing when that was a no-no back then. Now today, that’s a requirement. They came out in a time when samplers, synthesizers and drum machines where becoming the staple of modern R&B. They were very impactful in the development of today’s hip hop. How many groups you know can break ways, go platinum on their own, come back do another album and go platinum again. Ya all entitled to ya opinion. Just thought we need to respect “our” musical aunts and uncles.

Are you crazy?! Ralph is the lead singer. He can sing his ass off. He has a smooth beautiful voice. They certainly wouldn’t have been a legend if it wasn’t for that voice. Johnny came in the picture much later.

Why Bobby look like he had some lip injections done b4 he got there!!!??? It’s good to see them all together, even if they didn’t want Bobby’s crackhead ass in the picture. Michelle is definately staying on her A game these day’s she does look very nice.
