Again im not surprised what Imus said, but at the same time let’s be real if some of you heard that same story and no names were involved what would you *****ume? Just like I got an email about a girl that has 7 kids at the age of 16. Before I could even finish reading the email or see the pic of the girl, some people had commented they were surprised to see that the girl was not black. So its not like what he is saying is outlandish. Another example is when I was with a group of ladies and one told us a story of how when she was in traffic, she wouldn’t let this woman over and she shouted out,”eat my pu$$y”. A black lady in the group came right out and said, “I bet she was black”. Now if one of the white ladies in the group said it, would it have really changed anything? Its just sterotyping and being ignorant. Anyway that is the least of my concerns, I’m mad that I had to take money out of my savings acct to supplement the $$$$ that is being eaten away by the high fuel and grocery prices.

What Al Sharpton’s National Action Network needs to be monitoring is the drop out rate among African-American’s. There are so many real and pressing issues within the black community. Imus ain’t one of them. Who gives a ***** about the words that tumble from Imus’ pointy little head. That man has the right to say whatever the ***** stupid ***** he wants to say — and we have the right to respond to it. But really, should we?
Does Imus matter? Is he so relevant within our lives to warrant anything more than a shrug of the shoulders and a shake of the head? This is a non issue. Real talk? Picking boogers is more constructive than a discussion about Imus because at least then something would be getting dealt with.
This is America and as long as there is freedom of speech Imus can say whatever he wants too. don’t listen. That’s your remedy. Why call for the man to be fired? Woman locks children in shed and denies them food:regardless of race, it’s always a fat woman/skinny man or fat woman/fat man team.
Woman abandons children in intersection of road: woman is crazy, usually too young to have kids, or has too many to take care of.
Man breaks into liquor store using Backhoe to steal liquor, cigarettes, etc.: crazy, and chemical dependency issues.
Come down to Texas, where senseless crimes know no color!

I agree with Frank regarding CNN. Did anyone watch CNN the night of the Indiana primary? I was so ANGRY about the way they treated the Mayor of Gary regarding the vote count for that county and why Gary was holding it up. I noticed the white mayor of another city in that county kept saying over and over that their vote had been submitted by 7pm, and that Gary had the same equipment as them.
I was hoping the mayor of Gary would come out of the bag on Wolf Blitzer and the other mayor. The way they kept asking him the question, while adding, “We’re not trying to imply anything dirty is happening”, PLEASE! Wolf Blitzer even had the nerve to come out and refer to it as “Old time Chicago politics.” If I were the mayor in Gary I would have been like: We’re a predominantly black and low/middle income city that doesn’t the same polling funding as the other mayor’s city. We anti*****ted the large volume of mail in ballots, and we followed voting lows and waited to count all 11,000 of them. They have to be counted by hand. If the other mayor wants to come and help, instead of looking like a b@st@rd on CNN, then by all means, please come down and help us count AND HAND CERTIFY all 11,000 ballots.”

Imus asked a definite racist question and remark, therefore; sterotyping, labeling, and racisms.
