Pals of Vara, who is signed to Siri Records, say the two met through mutual friends and have been dating “two to three months . . . They are very low-key together. She goes to his games and they go to eat. She’s really happy. She really likes him.” According to an online bio of Vara, the Texas-born beauty “was blessed with a piercingly beautiful voice, model-like looks and an iron will to succeed.”
