Rhianna is getting better. I still hate her but I have to admit she’s improving. I loved A Keys w/ SWV & En Vogue but I thought they should have brought the girls out in descending order. En Vogue first then SWV and TLC last. I couldnt believe how bad Coco and the rest were looking. Is coco pregnant again? Damn that was hard to see but they were the ***** in their days. And En Vogue?!?!? That was fierce. Its crazy how those women have been out way before SWV and managed to keep up w/ their looks and bodies. Bravo to them! Did anybody see Dawn Robinson? I dont think she was there. Chilli looked really cute and Tboz looked homey and tired but the voice never changed.
If this show could just be performances, it would be so much better. Alicia Keys, Al Green, CBreezy, Maxwell n’ Anthony Hamilton, and even Ri-Ri have all done well.

Ok so Keisha’s performance sucked! She came in a half verse late on her second song. At least she looked cute, but she should never try to dance. My absolute favorite of the night was the entire tribute to Al Green! Ya’ll when Maxwell came out!!!!!…..I thought damn, where have you been all my life baby! He’s still sexy and he still has that silky voice. Why did Ashanti look like she was going to a damn costume party? She’s just so annoying in her interviews.

Kanye humble tonight? He kinda said Lil Wayne was his only competition. Jay-Z and Common were nominated in the same category. I can’t stand listening to Kanye speak, but I enjoy his music. Alicia Keys performance had a good concept, but extremely poor execution. To start, Alicia sounded horrible and the look does her no justice. Her skin tone was damn near orange. SWV looked stiff and scared. CoCo didnt go in like she could have. EnVogue looked good, but when Alicia song along things went wrong. TLC. Well, T-Boz sounded like Froggy from the Little Rascals. I know thats her signature sound, but it sounds better in the studio. Al Green sucked too.

Usher’s performance was WEAK!! He should have not opened the show, Alicia or T-Pain should have!! Great awards show last night!!

First and firemost, Al Green was the highlight of the show. You can’t do don’t but groove to Let’s Stay Together. Everybody was on their feet. You can’t front on that show. Jill, Anthony (he was perfect for that song) and ….MAXWELL!!!:) OMG! He needs to hurry up and put another album out. Chris performance didn’t take off until he performed “Take You Down”. Ciara killed it! Their performance made me a lil warm. Alicia Keys, SWV, TLC En Vogue – even though the sound was off, I was sooo glad to see the female groups. Keyshia Cole and dancing simply don’t go together.
Usher — so through with him. He was so boring I went to the kitchen to make a ham/cheese sandwich.

I never count the legend performances b/c they are always hype (well, most of the time) and they’re highly respected vets. IMHO, I thought that CB’s performance was a tad bit overrated. Good, but overrated. We know he’s grown; he don’t need to always prove it. For Me, it’s gonna be difficult for him to top his Excuse Me Miss/Gimme That peformance a couple years back. The words in the water were cute though. And did anyone see Ne-Yo lookin’ lost during the jabbawockeez routine? lmbao.

the fact that you guys didn’t realize that RHIANNA WAS LIP SINGING during her performance is also the same reason why industry standards are so low now. we have this watered down version of talent in the industry- where we don’t require our singers to have real talent.

im not getting ***** twisted……BEY IS THE BOMB, but it is a well known fact that alot of groups and singers have to lip sing, when they do a dance performance because they tend to become out of breath, which makes there voice sound shaky, and tired…..THANKS
