Are you kidding me?! Punishment?! The courts uses a FORMULA and other factors to determine the exact amount a child receives in child support. It is not about punishment and that is the problem with a lot of men when it comes to paying child support. They think the “man” and the ex is out to get them. Please!

What I am saying, however, is that these men that are complaining about paying child support and the amount of the child support, obviously have no idea what it means, or what it takes to raise a child. These are the men I’m speaking of.

It pisses me off that some men think that because a woman has her own money and has made her own way, that the fathers of these kids should be let “off the hook” or “go easy on him”. That’s bull. Raising a child isn’t just about money.

And let me say this, it cuts both ways. If a man is the sole provider of a child, then the mother should be held to the same standards as a man. I have absolutely no problem with that. But I’m speaking from a woman’s perspective, and too often all of the responsibilty to raise a child falls on the woman’s shoulders.

I think that its sad how our government treat men when it comes to child support.Don get me wrong there are a lot of men out there that don’t take care of their responsibility and then there are some that do.In this case Russell has always been a part of his girls life and has always taken care of them.I feel that like most women who strive for success, kimora had dreams of her own and with the help of Russell she was able to accomplish that (much respect on her behalf)but I feel that $20,000 a month per child is a lot of money.What really up sets me is that women who work a normal 9-5 and support their children on their own cant seem to get 1 dime for child support. I beg to differ. I don’t know what your situation is, but let me tell you something. I would GLADLY give up child support payments for the summer in exchange for my son to spend time with his father in order for me to be able to “do me” for a change.

And in a lot of instances, its not even about giving up the money. Its about the DRAMA that sometimes come with handing over your child to the father. There is a such thing as “baby daddy drama” too.

So again, this stuff is not just about child support/money.

I am a firm believer that we should be able to date whomever we would like to date, in spite of color, race, or creed. Personally, I don’t think that I will ever find a better match than a strong Black man, and the same applies to a Black man and his Black queen. NO ONE can take our place, period.

As a Black woman, I am proud of the accomplishments of the decent, quality Black men out there. There are always a couple of bad apples in the bunch BUT to all my sistas: Please don’t let an encounter with one bad apple ruin your zest for the entire bunch. I guess what I am trying to say that I won’t give up on the Black man. I don’t expect them to give up on me either.

Black families need to unite and stay strong, because the opposition is coming strong from ALL sides. Let’s not tear each other down with racial slurs and name calling. “6amhoegetout” did a good job of explaining where those hateful terms come from, so let’s not use them as verbal daggers against each other. We are worth so more than casting aspersions on each other’s respective characters. Instead, Black women and Black men should build each other up and stand together to overcome obstacles within the home and the community. YES WE CAN!!!!

Oh, and Kimora is out of pocket with her demands. Her judgment is chump change to BDR. That’s no big deal because he has the stacks BUT she shouldn’t insinuate that he is borderline unfit by demanding that security and nannies accompany the children at all times. I always thought that Kimora was childish and this proves it.

Don’t get me wrong. Germany has a real strong team..Ballack, Poldoski, Klose, Schweinsteiger..etc..and their the only team to win this 3 times.

They struggled to beat a team in Turkey that had 9 players out.

Yeah..but honestly to me it wasnt even about that. She had everything I wanted in a gf..Sucessful, Intelligent, Witty, Classy, Confident, and will downright shread anyone who deserves it. Now I’ve dated more white, latin, and european girls than black but she was the first that i really connected with on some many levels. But I can’t tell you that one of those levels had to do with race. In fact I think thats the last thing we focused on.

Kept me focused on school.

Gave me advice on what to do in school.

Introduced me to several high honchos @ school.

Her brother is now my personal trainer and nutritionist.

What about me? OK, I have a dilemma. My mother told me that my old boyfriend from college — whom I haven’t spoken to in years — called my parents’ house on my birthday last week because he wants to get in touch with me. He told my mom that I was his first love and he thinks of me every year when my birthday rolls around. So I’m debating whether I should call him — I’ve thought about him on many occasions and wondered how he’s doing, if he’s married, etc. — I just didn’t think I was also crossing his mind.

Well, I guess I consider it a strange coincidence because another brotha I used to date also contacted me within the past month and told me he loved me, blah, blah, blah, so I’m feeling like this is a re-emergence of the exes, both of whom I had very strong feelings for. It’s just interesting, that’s all.

A large number of women would not want men to keep their kids for a year because they won’t get that child support ($$$$$). I had to fight for 2 years to get mine for the summer and I’m trying to get her even more but the EBB doesn’t want that because she doesn’t to cut back that money. Anybody that thinks there aren’t other reason beside the good of the child is a liar.

I beg to differ. I don’t know what your situation is, but let me tell you something. I would GLADLY give up child support payments for the summer in exchange for my son to spend time with his father in order for me to be able to “do me” for a change.

And in a lot of instances, its not even about giving up the money. Its about the DRAMA that sometimes come with handing over your child to the father. There is a such thing as “baby daddy drama” too.

So again, this stuff is not just about child support/money.

Exactly you would give up the support for the summer, but would you be willing to have the time go 50/50 where the Dad pays ZERO and the Mom pays ZERO? Most Mom’s won’t, why because they want the money dollar dollar bill y’all.
