This is blown out of proportion! First it was reported that he drew the gun against another player, then that story was redacted. Carrying a gun to work, in bars or on a bus is the law in some southern states (GA). But the real issue here is this image that most (whites) have about black pro athlete being thugs which helps drives this disproportional response. I am 100% sure that the response from the media and the public would have been much more tempered if this was a white player..and that’s the truth and that’s America
