What should have happened in this case w/ a publicist, PR person, Image Consultant or anyone else around him collecting a check w/ the notion they are concerned about his career (and their next check) was that they asked to see the cover before it went to print. He did have that right and if he did not feel that was implicit than his attorney (also collecting a check) could have made it a contractual agreement before release and if they could not reach thay agreement not to do the cover.
