Why is it that Black men don’t have CONFLICT RESOLUTIONS SKILLS? I’m not being racist but trying to understand. Chicago had 500 murders last year and the talented Plaxico (Super Bowl winner) is in jail for gun possession. Arenas suspended form NBA for bringing a gun to work! Do you not know that ending a life isn’t the answer for any and ALL disagreements? Black men have clearly become a generation of sociopaths. Don’t bother telling me it is the media’s fault. Something is foul with Black guy’s thought process and cognitive skills.

I’ll admit I’ve only seen snippets of the show, and I’m still emotionally f’d up over Mike’s death so a part of me would like for the capitalism a s s ociated with that to cease, but that can’t be controlled. I know that they were supposedly taping this show before Mike died but you can’t deny the ratings are likely high because of it. I think I’m just highly annoyed by claymation Jermaine and the rest of those whispering brothers.

The criteria for an IMAGE award and the overall quality of entertainment is clearly declining. Sometimes I feel as if we are regressing and not following in the path of progression our ancestors set for us.

There are no words . . . it’s embarrassing. Matter or fact all that money being given to these artists today is more embarrassing.

If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance,

The industry is bull, today period. On all fronts; our ancestors are probably rolling over in their graves, to think fought to be free so that black folk can act the fool.

They were nominated because, at least, one of the producers on the show used to work at BET, as well as for Bynum-Murray, the pioneers of Reality TV.

Honestly I think young black men in general have a lot of pent up rage from lack of proper nurturing. This doesn’t however justify killing or using guns. I think the real answer is lack of ability to clearly see more productive options… the reason you don’t see it as prevalent in other communities is because other communities seem to celebrate or at least exposed to realistic and viable positive options.

We do what we have with what we think we have. I think that violence has become so accepted and so usual, starting with seeing it in the home, that it becomes a naturally comfortable emotion. Yes we have to do better raising our children.

But the statistics of white people killing white people are just as bad if not worse, it is just not as reported.

Don’t take any of that as gospel truth because I could be completely wrong. I am a General practitioner not a mental health professional.

Then we question ourselves, what is wrong with the young people….What example are these images giving our young people? I am also SMH as far as the NAACP exec are concerned. NO AWARD FOR RHOA…

nominating this show for a image award?
