“I got it made” was really the only song Ed was known for. Other than that he was average. It’s good to know that these ole school rappers have a platform to make some kind of throwback money. Tribe called Quest was there and I’m sure they killed it; they are legendary.

I was going to go to this last night-until the storm came…I LOVED me some Special Ed and D Nice back in the day. They don’t look bad, just a bit older and heavier that’s all. They’d get it, for nostalgic reasons only…

I was at this concert in BK yesterday and I have to honestly say the show was great. They did the ” The Return of the Crooklyn Dodgers” w/ Chubb Rock, Jeru and O.C.. If you’re a true hip hop head like me and didnt make this show u truly missed out. They smashed this track. Really good stuff
I think someone mentioned Tribe playing. They didnt. Ali opened the show up on the 1’s and 2’s and Premiere also came on and started spinning. It was a really good show.
Oh and thats a bad pic of chubb. I was pretty close to the stage and I have to say he looked like he lost some weight. for real he looked a lot slimmer.

It’s funny how people expect other people to look the same at 19 as they do in their 30’s and 40’s. Ed grew up like all humans do. And he has a man’s body instead of that teenaged slimness he once had.

Much respect to those rappers that had lyrical content. It was fun and magical back then, today it’s all about the illusion of what you can bring to the mike materialistically. Rims, chains the broads you can bang.

i heard the show was very good even with the rain… i met special ed and his beautiful wife at the hip hop soda shop in fl and he is very very humble, friendly and respectful..keep doing ur thing ed rep brooklyn 4 life!!!!
