The drunken lout seen on TV sucker-punching a “Jersey Shore” hottie in a bar will reportedly be fired from his job as a public school teacher in Queens. The Department of Education has drafted Brad Ferro’s termination letter. Once Ferro, 24, gets the letter, he’ll have 30 days to pack up his stuff and split from North Queens Community HS. “The termination process is underway,” a school official said. Ferro, of Deer Park, LI, was arrested Aug. 19 for punching out Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi at the Beachcomber Bar & Grill in Seaside Heights, according to local police.The brutish smackdown was featured in a video clip promoting MTV’s new reality show “Jersey Shore,” on which Polizzi is featured.
Ferro was initially told to lay off the booze by bouncers at the popular beach bar because he seemed too drunk, police said. But Ferro, who later said he had no memory of the incident, managed to stay inside the bar and eventually swiped shots belonging to Polizzi and her entourage that had been placed on the bar. In the video featuring the punch, Ferro is seen suddenly walloping Polizzi in the jaw, sending the 21-year-old falling backward. Ferro was later found guilty of the simple assault charge, hit with a $500 fine and remanded to anger-management class. “Jersey Shore” has been taking heat from Italian-American groups for its stereotyping of Italian youths as bimbos and buffoons. MTV later announced it was pulling the word “guido” from all its promos.
