Well I’m not crying over the deceased in this case because at 38 you probably not gonna change. Still robbing. I don’t agree with what he did. He intended to kill. At the smae time he was witin the law to protect his neighbors property. He could have shot them in the leg. i know this man is a good shoter. He’s a texan that probably been hunting and going to the range his whole life. So he could have made a different choice. God will deal with him. The sad thing is these two robbers died in the mist of sinning, but that is the life they chose. They didnt have time to repent. I agree with BIRD. Texas is not the place to be running up in somebodys house. Blacks and whites in Texas have the same mentality. Run up in my house and yor ass gets blown off!

woooooow. okay now heres my question. isnt self defence suppose to be within the instant? im just saying he told the operater he was going to kill them then went outside and did it. they shouldnt have been robbing anyone but does this mean for not on when ever someone decides to off someone all they need is to do it over the phone with an operator….damn shame. it was premeditated! im so disgusted

Sharie: In your situation where the perps actually assaulted you at gunpoint, then you absolutely have the right to use deadly force, your own LIFE was being threatened. If there was no gun, just a man breaking into your car or home, and then running away from you, then you should report the crime to police, let due process take place. This is why we have police. No one feels that you don’t have the right to protect yourself. I myself have been a victim of burglary, I wasn’t home when it happened, I found out later that there were several homes in my neighborhood that were robbed. The perps were 3 teenaged kids 2 were 17 and one was 19. Should I have blown them the hell away for this? I for one think people should really take life more seriously. People deal out death like a deck of cards. I agree, stealing is wrong. Is it death penalty wrong? I think not.

I have been robbed at gunpoint. A gun stuck to my freaking chest and I was asked if I wanted to die… They robbed both me & my best friend. U dont think I had the right to defend my life & my property? If I had a gun I would have shot them in the back & not thought twice about it…. I am so sick and tired of people calling this man a red neck, this man did what any other angry person would have done. Bottom line is, if I am home and happen to look out the window and see a situation that I can prevent or end I am going to take care of it, those men regardless of race or being an immigrant were wrong, they had no business trying to take someone elses things and for all of you who keep making it into a racial issue just imagine if it were your home… wouldn’t you want your neighbor to look out for you and all that you have worked for??? ok guys. i heard the 911 call and THEN saw pics of the perps (cnn.com/crime) and now i have a totally different attitude. dude was wrong.

this was not a spur of the moment decision. then the call records the actual shooting. he didn’t waste time asking any questions. it was straight MURDER.

Three years ago my house was robbed while my husband and I were out celebrating his birthday. Bastards took all of my jewelry, but all I really care about was the gold watch that my grandpa gave my grandma for Christmas in 1925. It was inscribed from him to her with love. I planned to give it to a grandchild. I would shoot the robbers today if I had the chance and never regret it!
