Holyfield is still holding out on the child support payments:
According to court documents the boxer hasn’t paid child support for his 10-year-old son Evan in three months! Holyfield’s baby Mama, Toi Jenese Irvin, is demanding Holyfield either pay his $9000 debt in full — or go straight to [jail]. Irvin also says Holyfield dropped their son’s health insurance — something he’s required to do by a judge.
SMH in particular about Evander dropping his son’s health insurance. He better auction some more shyte off and pony up the bread before he finds himself in the clink. Triflin ass.

I am a young woman that was raised by a single woman who didn’t get help from anyone and didn’t have her hand out for government assistance so my question is….Why can’t she get health insurance for her child? what is wrong with women being so damn lazy??? My brother is going through the same thing my niece is damn near 14 and he has to keep health insurance on her and her sister meanwhile the moms won’t work in a pie factory and has never held a full time job since I’ve known her. She has also been “engaged” to the same bum for about 6 years and he refuses to get a job.
We all know men think with one thing and it’s usually aimed at the skankiest thing in the room, but women take responsibility too. Child support is for the child as soon as you get pregnant don’t shout out “gimme my money” or call the man a bum and a deadbeat because the odds are he hasn’t changed since the day you met him.
Thats how them celebrities be going broke. The first thing they wanna do is have 50 kids, break up with the momma and end up having to pay 1000s of dollars in child support. I dont care who u is thats going to take a toll on dem pockets!

I am so amazed on this blog by some of the women. They are the main ones who is always on a guy side when he does not pay child support. And, I can almost guarantee these women probably have someone not paying them child support. Taking care of your children is not a privlige it is a right of the child because they did not ask too be here.
He is not a good person. He has dogged every woman out he has been with. And when it is over he kicks them and the kids to the curve all while saying he is a man of the cloth. You can fool yourself and you can fool most people but you cannot fool GOD.

She SHOULD be doing what she needs to do to provide for her child (work, get insurance, etc.), but that does not absolve him of his responsibilities. Looks like he needs to downsize his museum-size house to something he can afford AND handle his business, which includes getting his alimony reduced to what his actual income is now. You gotta be proactive about managing your business or shit is just gonna get outta hand.
He can get into broadcasting, promoting fights or train someone. He made these children and he has to take care of them. When he was making millions a fight he should of put away a couple mil for each of his children in sepaerate accounts. Instead he decided to live unclean, sleep with several women and produce children all over while praising the lord. I don’t feel any sympathy for him. I would ask the judge for incarceration as well beause he made poor choices. Now it is time to man up and deal with the consequences.

I work for child support and he is can go back and get his current support adjusted if he is so finacially strapped. However the 3000 per month figure is probably the readjusted amount. You can go back and refigure support that is past due so he is stuck like chuck paying that.
And yes his “baby momma” should get a job but he should not be absolved of his responsibilites because trust Holyfield is not broke like average folks, he is rich people broke. LOL. I am sure he has the money to pay but is doing what many “deadbeats” (and yes he is a deadbeat) dads do which is not pay support for as long as they can and then when they are threatened with jail time they pay something on it.
Parenting is a two person process and we don’t know if this chick works or not but since he is stepping up out of a limo in a suit I don’t think he is hurting to bad for dough. As they say Mickey D’s is always hiring.
I agree Bree. I don’t want to dog this dude too bad but I thought that things would turn out a little differently for him than it has for so many other previous heavyweight champions. The main reason I thought this is because (at least in the past) he would always evoke the name of Jesus & tried to come off as dignified. Meanwhile he lived a very raggedy undignified life (many children w/many different women & who suffers the children!) but I thought maybe there’s some balance behind the scenes. Maybe he tried to be smart in other areas but nope! Nobody’s perfect but he seems just short of a full deck & a bit phony (Kobe style).
