As for Mariah I have NEVER heard her call herself black and before this Nick Cannon farce or a marriage all the dudes she dated and had in her videos were ALWAYS WHITE. So how did she become soul sista number one all of a sudden?

Wow ive never seen so much lightskinned superiority BS in all my life. First of all IF darkskinned women have feelings of animosity (which is BS anyway) its because they have lived years in a society that puts them down because they have the audacity to look black!!! The Mariahs, Beyonce’s and Halle’s fit the European mold and that is why they have been elevated to the levels they’re at. Im not saying these women are not talented, but for every Mariah there’s some “black, nappy headed” girl in a church in any city in the United States who could sing circles around Mariah who will never get a shot at stardom because she doesn’t fit the mold. All this darkskinned women hate on lightskin is only a valid statement if you believe lightskinned women are superior or more beautiful. I DO NOT AND HAVE NEVER BELIEVED THEM TO BE MORE BEAUTIFUL. Black women come in all shades and ALL are beautiful. Its time our OWN people wake up.
