What game id saying is not the story or news. Russ is importing them b*itches and calling it charity and you car about lyrics in Games song. Truth is he dont know where they got them diamonds in the chain from no one can be sure. Target someone how supports the practices, diamond mines, and the killings not some dumb statement Game made in a song. Atleast his bring attention to the problem, negative or not.

Its the truth what he says about blood diamonds but I bet you if he showed up in Africa wearing them, he will most definately leave without them and for sure there will be blood.

And its true not ALL diamonds are blood diamonds, its just that blood ones are a little bit cheaper.

I don’t argue opinion, its a waste of time. I only deal with facts. You criticized someone for generalizing and turned around and used generalizations in your own argument. Thats a fact. I’m not even gonna debate whether or not entertainers and black folks in general think that having diamonds is a sign of making it…you did say black folks in general didn’t u….meaning all of us?!? CERTAIN black people may have those views but do me a favor and don’t speak for or about all of us. It makes your statement sound, how did u put it….”very ignorant?” I think your intentions were good but next time avoid using opinion. Also consider that diamonds are a representation of high social status amongst many races and cultures throughout the world. Believe it or not its not just a sign of “making it” for black folks. Ask the royal family…Black people didn’t invent the concept, we just bought into it. Do some people take it over the top, sure but once again thats just an opinion. Should they make smarter investments and focus on longterm wealth. Of course , and thats a fact i dont mind debating.

I feel that most of the comments on here are sprinkled with ignorance. Including reality check! I find it very humorous that you said:

Thats exactly what he is talking about. We would rather shoot down his perception of the situation rather than add to it. The “ruling the world” statement was in quotations for a reason which is it wasnt to be taken literally but as a metaphor. Game is one of those guys who may be too cheap to buy the diamonds that arent from that particular area so he takes the ones that are bloodied which is rather pathetic. People as a whole should look at whats being taken because of those things & realize they arent that important. They will never be able to gaurantee you life or time. Instead they take up your time trying to get them that you cant get back & you can lose your life over them. As you stated, its wrong all the way around. I understand both points of view though, which is possible to do. You dont have to only have a one track minded way of thinking. Both of you are right in your own regard.
