Wow. They best not let this man out of jail this time around. This is pure craziness:

Three years after a Louisville father was released from prison on parole for the murder of his infant son, he was charged with murder again after the death of another newborn. Robert Long Jr. is being held at Metro Corrections on $20,000 bond. Long spent 16 years in prison for the 1991 slaying of his 5-week-old son, Robert Deon Long. In an unfortunately similar case, he’s now charged in the death of his 6-week-old son, Lavion Gamble.

The arrest report stated Long told police he was sleeping on Tuesday morning and when he woke up he was on top of Gamble and the baby wasn’t breathing. During his arraignment on charges of menacing, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with physical evidence Thursday morning a judge read Long’s account of what happened at the arraignment. The murder charge was added Thursday afternoon. “The above subject stated he was sleeping in the early morning hours of the 26th of January. He woke up on top of the infant who was not breathing. He attempted CPR, but was unsuccessful. He then dressed the corpse in a jumper and placed it in the vehicle. He did not call 911 or seek out help.”

The court document said Long then went to a friend’s house on Ridgecrest Road, leaving the dead baby in the vehicle. Police discovered the body Wednesday afternoon. The arrest report said the corpse was stiff and cold to the touch. An autopsy performed Thursday found Gamble’s death was a homicide as a result of multiple blunt force injuries to multiple body surfaces.

WLKY learned that in 1992, Long was sentenced to 35 years in prison for the murder of his then 5-week-old son. It was the court’s opinion at that time there was substantial risk Long would commit another crime if given probation or conditional discharge. Long was granted parole in February 2007 and was due to remain on parole until 2026. In 2008, an ex-girlfriend took out a domestic violence order against Long. The petition alleged Long threatened to kill the woman and tried to run her off the road with her kids in the car. He was ordered to remain at least 300 feet away, effective until 2011. When police caught up with Long on Wednesday he approached them with a weapon.

The arrest record stated that officers told Long several times to drop knife, but he wouldn’t drop it putting officers in fear for their lives. Long is being held on $20,000 bond.

WTF??? They should have castrated this crazy motherfu*ker the first time he decided to kill his newborn son. There is no way that people like this should be on the streets, let alone having babies. SMH at them “not knowing” that he killed his 5-week old son back in 1991. SMH. SMH.
