You make a good point, but I don’t think it was that simple. We all know that Usher likes his women older and mature, I think that when he was with Chilli he was young and wanted to sew his oats. I think he cared for her but he wasn’t ready for the seriousness that she wanted. He dipped and dabbed with a few chicks (Eishia Brightwell, Naomi Campbell, etc.) after she left him alone and ended up marrying Temeka (for whatever reason unbeknownst to me). But it was obvious that he did not have the same chemistry with any of those women that he had with Chilli. I think that’s why people liked them so much as a couple and you could see that she was truly in love with him. I think that after all the stuff he’s gone through he might be thinking back on his past and realizing what he had in her….men do it ALL the time…

Well, she did make it clear that she still had feelings for him a while back when he was (is he?) still married…

I hear you but I disagree…a man marries who he wants to,yes it is that simple…why do you think there’s so many women with men for years and he never even discusses it but he can then be with a woman 6 months and walk her down the aisle-because thats who he chooses!!

I just think that Usher was immature and I think if I had met my husband a few years earlier than what I did, he may have not been where he was mentally when he met me and may have not realized what he had in me. I think it is possible for a man to let a woman go whom he may have loved but just was not mentally ready to settle down at that time. My ex that I dated years and years ago is married with two daughters and still tells me to this day that he made a mistake in letting me go. He claims to be happy and I wish him all the best, but sometimes people will not realize what they have in a person until it is too late, and if it’s not too late, it’s still late, nonetheless…

I think Usher and Chilli make a very nice couple and I would love to see them together again!!! I really don’t think either were happy without the other, but they knew they needed to go on with their lives. They both were looking for someone to fill that void, but you can’t replace true love!
