Speaking from personal experience.A very similar situation happened to a family member got caught up with some guns ATF style, my family to has money, and he did not get off so easy. I dont know all the details of T.I case but my family did not get off so easy and he was actually a first time offender, it is to my knowledge that T.I has multiple feleonies. So it just makes you think was it fame that got him off so easy. Maybe we will never know. Keep ya head up cuz you got 10 more to go.

I’m an Attorney. I’ve worked for county Prosecutor’s office’s as a law clerk and as a field attorney for the Fed’s. I haven’t seen the specifics of the case against TI, but generally speaking there is no way a Fed would allow him to walk like that unless he cooperated in some way. Unless he flipped in some manner there is no way a convicted felon who fronts about selling coke and shooting people gets off that easy. Unless he snitches. There’s a chance that the feds may not have a good case, but if TI was there buying the weapons himself, and they have audio or video, that’s a lot of time behind bars for sure. Look at that picture people. That dude is not built for Fed prison. He’d be in P.C. 24/7.
