It Came Back to Haunt Her

Here’s yet another reason folks should leave them rocks the hell alone:
Natalie Cole has been diagnosed with Hepatitis C. The Grammy-winning singer, 58, discovered she had the disease during a routine visit to the doctor, but is responding well to treatment.
“Natalie has had a terrific response to her medication and is now virus negative,” Dr. Graham Woolf, Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at U.C.L.A./Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, said in a statement.” This gives her an increased chance of cure.”
Doctors believe that Cole’s illness is likely the result of drug usage decades ago, which she documented her 2000 autobiography, “Angel On My Shoulder.”
Damn, that’s tragic. We wish Natalie a quick and complete recovery.

Poor Natalie. She had a lot of issues back in the day. I heard she was even a prostitute. I hope evrything works out for her

There’s prolly some other contributing factors that helped along the way like unprotected sex with other show biz types.

She didn’t get it from her cocain/crack years in the early 80s. She got it when she was doing heroin in the 70s when her career had just took off. I saw her NBC movie back in 2000 and the ***** Natalie was doing back in the day would put some of these young divas to shame.

She’s lucky that’s all they found. Natalie has really lived. I read a more in depth article this morning on this from the L.A. Times. Natalie caught through needle-sharing back in the day and apparently it has been laying dormant all this time. It’s really too bad. I wish her all the best and a speedy recovery.

Just a few months ago Natalie was talking ***** about somebody with a drug problem (Amy Winehouse?). Now, unfortunately, her own drug use has come back to haunt her.

There is no real cure for Hepatitis C. In time, many have to get liver transplants. Let’s hope hers is not so severe.

ya dont get hep c from smoking crack the disease is a blood born pathegion. that is it has to be a blood to blood connection. Now both parties lips would have to be bleeding in order for the transfer when they switch up on the pipe. But the heat would be to intense for the virus to survive,However if the parties bust a serious slob with bleeding lips then it is absolutely possible. And no I aint got the virus. There are people who got the virus who have never smoked crack shot heroin or any other intraveneous useage. So in some cases the tranfer of the virus is mysterious. Be smart about it dont be a doper. Stay true to your mate. Most of all get tested!
To all those you who are uneducated about Hep C it is a virus (blood born virus) and it can lay low in your system for about 20 years and you not know it and then suddenly it surfaces. You can contract Hep c from a blood transfusion, tattoos etc…give her a brake.
jesus i wish people would educate themselves before they start talking hep c is on of those diseases for which their is no cure, only a life time of meds. natalie cole chose the life she led and for that these are the consequences. she was her usual high and mighty self when she was bashing amy whinehouse who does not deny shes rocked out, but this is no crack issue its a needle exchange drug issue, look at pamela anderson she has hep c and it was due to needle exposure from tattoos

natalie was huge in ther 70’s my favorite 2 songs are annie mae, and mr. melody we knew she went from heroin to crack she stated that she was a PROSTITUTE AND dated drug dealing pimps to support her habit.
