Messy Jesse’s at it Again

Jesse Jackson apparently dropped the N-Bomb during his infamous “nut cutting” rant last week:
When Fox News aired the clip of civil right activist Jesse Jackson saying that he wanted to castrate Barack Obama, the media pounced on the major gaffe, forcing Jackson to repeatedly apologize the Illinois senator and his family. Now it’s being revealed that Reverend Jackson made potentially more damaging remarks in his caught-on-tape moment of shame.
Though the actual footage has not circulated, transcripts of the illicit conversation have been leaked and show Jackson to have used the “n-word.” According to TVNewser.com, Jackson said, “Barack…he’s talking down to black people…telling niggas how to behave.” Fox had edited out the racial slur in its broadcast.
Jackson, who though his mic was off while he made the comments, should suffer even more public disgrace with this new revelation. The reverend is known for crusading again the use of the so-called n-word and this incident shows gross hypocrisy.
The former civil rights icon was among the loudest in bashing comedian Michael Richards for his onstage tirade, in which he used the charged words multiple times. And Jackson is known for leading boycotts against entertainment figures and companies that sell content featuring the word.
Following the leak of the transcript, Jackson apologized again, but dodged presiding issue:
“I am deeply saddened and distressed by the pain and sorrow that I have caused as a result of my hurtful words. I apologize again to Senator Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, their children as well as to the American public,” he said in a written statement. “There really is no justification for my comments and I hope that the Obama family and the American public will forgive me. I also pray that we, as a nation, can move on to address the real issues that affect the American people.”

Even today the NAACP is against school vouchers when the majority of us want to send our children to good schools at our choosing. The NAACP and the Federation Of Teachers are all in the same boat. Wanting the same failed policies for our children to continue just as long as they get a paycheck. I have seen some schools that I wouldn’t send a pitbull to in the inner-city, yet their are children their who still do their best to learn because they are motivated and have good parents. But most of them don’t and most of the bad parents could give a rats ass about education. Let the good, decent, motivated kids go to the schools of their choice. Let them learn and advance if they want to, and stop doing things like the NAACP is doing by campaigning against school vouchers.

For to many people have been “thrown under the bus” as a result of this obama campaign and I am honestly disgusted by all of it.

My personal feeling is that it seems Jesse should work with Obama, instead of talking down about him. I know Jesse’s credentials, I am aware of some of the sacrafices he has made for blacks, but don’t you think that is all the more reason why his comment on a public forum was so indecent, towards Obama who is black and the Presidential candidate? People aren’t questioning his background in foreign relations as a “peace keeper”, they are questioning why he got on national television and made those comments.

The context of Jessie’s anger was the father’s day speech where Obama was talking to a church about responsibility in the black community. I think he felt Obama was “talking down” to black people because the message he gave was condescending given that his audience was a group of honorable christians. Is anyone slightly suspicious of these allegations/revelations about Jesse Jackson…It sounds all too suspect to me…is this man dumb enough to create not only political but social suicide by saying all these things…cutting of his nuts was bad…but all the expletives are a bit too far fetched to me…Additionally the fact that FOX news….yes FOX..I live in London and even I am aware of how much FOZ “loves” black folk…. have refused to release teh tape or the transcript….before you hang him I think more evidence than just the word of a close source/Fox representative is needed!

I run audio at a news station, and they do not keep mics open. They are killed whenever a guest/anchor/reporter is not on camera.
I really wonder what everyone would be saying about Dr. King if he were still alive. Some of his indiscretions have been made public and I’m sure they would’ve found new ones by now. So I wonder if his past accomplishments would be downplayed because of issues in his personal life. Any ideas?

I’m a 48-year old Jewish man, and way, way back in the day i believed in the “Rainbow Coalition”. But then Jesse piped up w/ his comment about “Hymietown” and while I’ve heard worse, it definitely gave me the feeling that he was not genuine. It gave me the feeling that he was just another slimy politician.

Im dissappointed in Jesse…What he stands for today is questionable. Quite frankly it has always been.
