Sean “Diddy” Combs may add another major honor to his diverse career in entertainment. The music mogul has been nominated for an Emmy at the upcoming 60th Primetime Emmy Awards for “A Raisin in the Sun.” Though Diddy was not recognized for his acting performance, as Executive Producer he stands to win a prize for Outstanding Made for Television Movie.
Co-stars Phylicia Rashad and Audra McDonald are in the running for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, respectively. The made-for-TV-movie debuted in February 2008, just four years after the Broadway revival of the play, which starred Diddy, Phylicia Rashad, Audra McDonald, and Sanaa Lathan. The cast also reappeared in the television adaptation.
The 60th Primetime Emmy Awards will air Sunday September 21, 2008, at 8/7c on ABC.
Combs is a three-time Grammy winner whose awards and nominations have been focused in the music business until now. The 39-year-old business man was honored with a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in May.

I think Mr. Combs is very untalented. Still believe he set BIG up. He was the only one to benefit, from his death…No artist has ever really made it messing around with Puff. He has been living off old glory for the longest. I kind of miss his shiny suits and him dancing around like the minstrel, he is…Don;t like him for how he did Kim, even though she’s stupid for having kids out of wedlock, she asked for it. He was tricking the whole time. Even Mary J, didn’t start making alot of money and improved her image AFTER she dumped his broke *****, and went to another label. He never gave Faith or Voletta (sp? her name), any funds for missing you. IRS looking into that a– for vote or die, funds misuse of funds…Wish he would just go sit down and quietly go bankrupt, every month in hte news for starting fights, Fake ***** ni–. Look how he did Shine, who is still in jail, over his J-Lo bs. Can’t stand Diddynot….NEXT………

Did anyone see him in a “Raisin in The Sun”, he was alright, but a Emmy? I didn’t see that coming. He’s a businessman a fashion icon among other things. His professional life is a reflection of a hard working man. His personal life needs some work, but then again couldn’t we all use a little “tweeking”.
Bossip how come you have yet to talk about Kim Porter’s new reality show with Lifetime? saving it for monday?

Yes, he has had a hand in new acts, but they never quite make it…Since you want to ask, whatever happened to Total, Lil Cease ,( never liked him, but these cats were always around, when BIG was there…)
I never considered making the band, a real group, just like I don’t think the people on American Idol, are really stars or talented…Wow, I never knew how many people adored Diddynot, juicymouthed. I loved Diddy at one time but as I followed him more closely I really didn’t like how he was in his personal life. At least how he was portrade(sp?) I went on YouTube to watch videos and he had some posted and he is really a *****y guy. Money will make you that way I guess. It is the root of all evil. I use to like Kanye. He was a humble rapper when he first come out but now he is oosing rage and *****iness!!!
