Rhianna, stay black and positive…ignore the haters..there are many. From my experience I constantly hear dark skin folks bashing light skin folks “light is this, light is that…why all the hatred and animosity againt your own people?. Our race will never be respected because of this color issue.I spoke to a white friend of mine recently and he asked me why do black people always talk negative about their own race…I told him that a lot a black people hate themselves. As sad as that sounds its the TRUTH!!

Damn when I read some of these comments it makes me sick! Specially that color issue thing. Look maybe Rihanna is not lying. It could be true, because anywhere u go it seem like color will always be an issue. Even when everyone is mixed it will still go on. Anyway STOP hating on Rihanna, let the girl do her thing!!! I’m from the Caribbean Rihanna is brown skin she is not light skin. There are girls who are fairer than that. I am the same complexion as her and they refer to girls that complexion brown skin.

@Rihanna…light skinned people always be talking bout they had it hard growing up because of their skin color. I do not know where these people grew up at but in my town the lighter you were the better you were treated. So please come off it girl. Try being blue-black and see how the people accept you.

there are many beautiful darker skinned black girls who dont get the same notice as light skin girls, from black men, and that’s a damn shame. And what’s this obsession with long hair? It’s not what makes you beautiful, it’s all about getting the hairstyle that suits your face, stylists are experts at this. The missunderstanding about long hair being prettier, is BS, it depends on the head it’s hanging from. Besides, if you got a gorgous face, like Rhihanna, go for a shorter style so we can actually SEE your cute mug!

poor little pretty girl. im sure she was teased about her skin color. theres not much else to hate on. *think about it* but im sure she was extremely popular nonetheless.
