I would rethink a move to Cali, right now, darlin’. The Job situation is precarious + the state taxes will drain your paycheck to the tune of 10% if you make $47,000 or more. Ol’Arnie is rumored to raise Property taxes by 5% to offset the cost of all the fire, mud and flood damage incurred in recent months. It’s gettin’to the point, where Cali is just too expensive to live.

Not that you asked me…but Baldwin Hills/Lemert Park area is more upscale and more conveniently located to things than Carson.(imo)Actually has a nice neighborhood vibe. Carson Just sits off a clogged freeway .Like pretty much everything else in LA.One other thing:LA REALLY SUX.If you have to be there for work…so be it.If you think LA would be a cool place to live…not so much.Almost no one is happy.That includes people who are actually “making it”.Get used to people being passive/aggressive with negativity towards you & your ambitions.Don’t even get me started on the horrendous TAXES & general over-involvement the state has in the lives of it’s citizens.Nice place to visit…

I do believe that for “normal” people (meaning not famous) there is a limit to 6 before you at least have to haev a psychiatric evaluation. I know in NYC a woman morphed herself to look like a cat (whiskers and everything) and when she was about to have her 6th or 7th, there was this big to do about it, even though she had the money.
