This is just horrible. An Illinois woman, Michelle Riley, was sentenced to 45 years behind bars after police say she held a pregnant mentally disabled woman captive, beating her, burning her and using her for target practice before she died. Continue

    I actually saw this story on another site…

    I work in psychology (research tech), and focused my thesis work on psychopathology. So I’ve seen and heard about people doing things that would make a serial killer cry. And STILL, there are constant news reports that leave me unable to utter anything but “dear God…” (so at least I know I’m not completely dehumanized…). This chalks up another one of those reports.

    If I didn’t believe in the Most High, it would be hard to keep going after all those times you want to stop and weep for the world….

    This story is so sad. I couldn’t even imagine what this lady looked like by the time she died from the way they tortured. The 5 people that did should be tortured worse on death row, then put in the electric chair, and sent to hell in a rocket ship with gasoline drawers on.
