Kelly Rowland says Destiny’s Child may reunite next year:
The trio split up in 2005, with Rowland, Michelle Williams and Beyonce Knowles all going on to forge successful solo careers. However Rowland is convinced that the group will reunite within the next 12 months – as she misses working with her former band mates.
She says, “Me and the girls never split up – we are as close as we always were, like sisters, and we may do some projects next year.”
We can’t help but to wonder if her enthusiasm isn’t due to her failed solo attempt. Poor thang.

@ lauren…i would have to disagree slightly with you comment about ENVOUGE , it’s four of them that have different ranges (octaves) and their harmony is ALWAYS on point….they really got it going on. where as with DC (i love them too) but I don’t feel that same harmony and each band member can’t sing with a powerhouse voice….Envouge can.

I definitely think so. I felt they sound great and did you see them walk out together? The only person that was big out of the group was Maxine who has always had the bigger body out of all the girls. DC can touch envogue cause their harmonizing has always been ridiculous and they all can outblow any of the Dc members let alone they all sing leads in songs not just 1 song off the cd. Not to mention their songs are more in debt, ie. “free your mind” To be honest if you are 20 and below you wouldn’t know too much about envogue. You may have caught the endings when they were splitting.

Now that I can agree with because the idea of true music has been lost to the bubble gum “catch on phrase” music. Indeed they will probably not seel much among the younger crowd because many, not all younger people can actually care less about the words or the vocalist. As long as they look sexy and have a catchy chorus then they will sell. I like Dc no doubt, but Envogue vocal wise is the better group. DC wouldn’t have sold during the Envogue time and I’m sure you know this, but also DC had no real competition when they were out. Envogue was up against TLC, SWV, Total, and Xscape. Even Jade and Brownstone came out in the later days. DC had competition of who? Isyss if people even remember them.

I agree. This site is always ***** kelly like she did something wrong. I bet *****ODY has even heard kelly’s cd…in which I thought was pretty good it had more than a few nice songs. I feel bad for her b/c stupid sites like these are who gives kelly a bad name. If kelly’s not your bag of tea, then don’t bring her down to the whole public! I mean damn. It’s not like kelly is not talented, she’s always been able to bring it.
As for Destiny’s child getting back together, it sounds like Bey might have a little too much on her plate for that b/c destiny’s child always comes with 100% effort so that’d be a lot of time/work to put another album out. So as much as I love my DC girls…they ended on a pretty good tip

The insider explained, “When she started talking that craziness everyone [at the salon] started laughing – but she was dead serious.”

You obviously don’t realize Kelly is bigger in London than Beyonce is here. She is happy as hell. All of the girls are happy. Beyone made over 55 million last year alone. So if they want to get back together, it is because they want, none of them need to. The hating is really sad.

This is not news, they have always said they will do shows together in the future and special events. They just are not recording new material.
I don’t think we will a DC reunion for another 10yrs. It will be during a point where Beyonce’s career is winding down & she actually has a CD that tank. It will be after she has a few little Sean Carters running around and her sex appeal meter comes down a notch. Till then Kelly better get on her grind & look toward over avenues of making money. It doesn’t matter if Kelly sold 2 records or 2 million. Its all about sells and money now. What about the people who liked it? Yeah Beyonce may have sold a lot of records with her last album, but did people actually like it? Not really.
Kelly is more famous overseas, she is not a flop. There are people who came out with an album this year who sold less than she did ike Ashanti, Lil Mama, and Tiffany Evans.
The girls is beautiful and I always check up on news on her and she is always performing, doing something. She is not lazy and sits on her behind waiting for a hit. She is a hard worker. She does have endorsements, so know before you type that ish up. She was on PR the london version, and she has her own show coming up.

You can tell how many people actually like the product by concert ticket sales. Kelly could not sell out a high school theater. The Beyonce Experiece played out in large venues and even sold out in some cities. There are very few artist today that can tour on their own. That is why they tour in groups of 4 or 5 and play in civic centers. It’s nice that you are a Kelly fan but you have to be realistic. I don’t even belive anyone in Destiney’s Child would dispute that since they modled their quartet DIRECTLY off the pattern of En Vogue except for EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF ENVOGUE CAN SANG THEIR *****ESS OFF, which is NOT the same for DC. When I was in France, I was surprised by the amount of love that Kelly got over there. Her picture was plastered everywhere and that was in 2003! I’m not a big fan, but I can’t deny she has enjoyed plenty of success over there, even if she is not as loved over here. Many of you have never traveled outside of the States or possibly the Caribbean, so you don’t know anything about overseas and the kinds of money that American artists make over there. If you don’t know, keep your ignorant mouth shut!
