people also said he wanted white kids, but i dont think thats what it was. i think mike just wanted kids and rowe was around he had married her, so she did that for him. he had to pay her, but she was his wife so he just rolled with that.

i still say that he should have adopted a few black ones though. we can say, well, whites are adopting black kids, whats wrong with us adopting white ones, but white kids have it made. the whole blended family helps stomp out racism, but u notice tht jolie and madonna have a mix of kids. mike shouldve done the same. there are so many black kids who need a leg up that they could never get unless they are in a position like prince and blanket. blanket is supposedly his, but he still isnt black enough for me to believe that. i know mike probably thought that was gonna send out reprogrammed whites by taking on these kids, but he shouldve adopted or had some black kids too.

I still think he bleached his skin, but he probably did it to make his vitiligo less noticeable. Personally I’ve never seen a person with vitiligo turn completely white, and in the article it said he had “white patches” on his arms and chest(mind you, he already turned completely white). At least this is one rumor folks can put to rest.

Never doubted it, however those of you who did doubt him it is no wonder because he told some real whoppers about how much plastic surgery he had. If he was open with that people would be more inclined to believe him. He could also have told the interviewer that it was none of their gat-damn business but he chose to say he only had 2 nose jobs. Add a zero and we might be closer.

Still that doesn’t justify the releasing his autopsy report. Give the guy some dignity.

Mike always said he wanted to adopt children from EVERY part of the world. NO ONE was going to let him adopt after the child molestation charges in 1993.
Mike was always proud of who he was but circumastances dictated otherwise.

She is MJ colour. And in England had a show after he died and there was a brother featured on there as well. RESEARCh before you talk.

Well said. I always raised an eyebrow at the fact he tried to wash away his browness as he became more popular and when he chose to adopt he went with some mega white kids. Damn Mike, not even one brownie out of 3??
That’s just harsh and prob. due to some self-hate or insecurity. What’s wrong with brown kids? Like rothschild said, white people have it made already! Think about how small Europe is and the influence that colonialism has had in the world up until this very day. He really didn’t need to give some white kids a hand out…

If you see pics from the Victory tour Mike used dark make-up to cover up the white spots but at some point he probably had more white spots than dark skin. Tito said Mike didn’t want to look like a spotted animal.
I know someone with universal vitiligo and lupus (Mike had both) and she said that you have more white skin than dark skin. As a result you go through the process of depigmentation of the dark skin patches so that you can be one color. She says she sometimes get brown patches but uses creams to be uniform.
She believed Mike from the beginning because they shared the exact same experiances. Treatment for Lupus made the vitiligo worse. She said it is very traumatizing.

He rocked a ‘fro when he was younger, if he really wanted to cover up the Pepsi incident damage, why not get some hair pieces that look more like his hair when he was brown and not like some crazy straight ‘dos?

And the plastic surgery to make his nose all pointy? What’s the excuse for that?
It’s just a shame that this brilliantly talented musician couldn’t get his sh|t together when it came to his self-image and identity issues. It’s sad when the young man you might have idolized when you were younger looked just like you and was representing for people who looked like you, but as time went on he just became some kind of freakshow.

Um and what did him not being able to have kids have to do with making the choice – three times no less – to adopt white instead of at least a mix or brown?

I have a problem when a person is talented but still feels the need to change to fit some “standard” of beauty/attraction to the point that they make a complete 180 in a short amount of time.

Well, dear, it matters because he was a public figure. If a brown man doesn’t even want to adopt brown kids then what does that say to the world? If he’d rather choose white heirs instead of brown ones, what does that say to you?

It’s already known that brown children are the least adopted in the U.S. – brown boys more so than girls – so why would this man in a position to really make a change choose to just go the other way?

He had the money to adopt more than one child, which he did, so why adopt all three who were white?? Riddle me this: if brown people don’t even want their own, then what the hell is really going on?

It’s not a matter of “satisfying everyone,” it’s a matter of why would he even do that? Are white kids really struggling in the U.S.? Are you really even arguing this? Or are you just trying to play devil’s advocate.

Oh I didn’t know he actually admitted to it.

My good friend has vitiligo and she doesn’t use make up or creams to cover anything (it covers her entire body so it’s not just on her arms or legs or some body part that is easy to hide.) She’s comfortable in her own skin and I wish more people could be like her.

So many people look up to entertainers (who knows why) and it’s a shame because they have major issues and often do things that no one should look to emulate.

You know damn well his head caught on fire when shooting that commercial. It has said countless times his hair never grew back. His last surgery on his head was on the late 90′s early 00′s. Countless articles have come out since his death and many people has confirmed that. Some said he had a ballon on top of his head. He use to let them touch it. The bald spot kept getting larger and larger. On top of that he had lupus. He was loosing his hair because of it.

Michael was the most famous man in the world. Do you think he would have gone out like Jim Careys charcter on IN LIVING COLOUR (forgot his name). On top of that have blotches on you skin looking like a spotted cow. If that girl on THE TODAY SHOW said she was treated horrible especially by Black folks, made fun of. Gave her really low self esteem. She is still embarraed because of the way IGNANT folks still treat her. What do you think MICHAEL JACKSON the mos famous man in the world would go through?

If anyone is simple minded it’s you because I was quite clear in saying that I didn’t fault him for losing his hair or having splotchy skin, that’s obviously something he couldn’t control. M.J., I just wished the world left you alone, and weren’t so evil toward you, unfortunately that’s the wicked world we live in. There are different levels of vitiligo, some people have like small patches, and some big patches all over their body. My cousin has vitiligo, and at first we were all like nothing serious, and she didn’t even care, until she turned 21, it just became worse. Her skin complexion used to be dark brown, and before our eyes, her skin was gradually turning white, which wasn’t a pretty sight at all. She used to use liquid foundation to blend it out, but when she will go out, people will heavily stare at her, and it was so uncomfortable, and embarrasing.

So, she visited the dermatologist, and her options was, get an advanced liquid makeup or you can completely kill the melanin, so the black patches will be whiter, and blend in. Yes, she used safe bleaching creams prescribed by the doctor. Her skin is really white now, and it might even get whiter, bcos it’s a process.

M.J can’t be compared to anyone, even Elvis Presley. Elvis is just overrated, white folks give him too much props just bcos he’s white. The older white generation, wanted to have someone who looked like them, that will entertain them. This dude stole other people’s songs, sang gospel songs, like seriously? just full of gimmicks, nothing original. The main difference btw M.J and Elvis, is that M.J has an overral talent, and the level of appeal and popularity he has, will continue from generations to come, nothing compared to, and Elvis will mostly be remembered by older generation.

MJ is the best entertainer/performer. He’s the King of music. In all respect, to Elvis Presley, he’s nothing close. He was the only artist that brought people from different ethnicity, different ages, status, everything, together in one place. Everyone knows about MJ, even the little babies, some of them start dancing to his music at an early age. Everytime, one of MJ songs comes up on radio, I can’t help but move my body. I guarantee you from generations to come, MJ will always be known, and remembered. Is it, people trying to beat it, do the moonwalk, or dress like him, he will forever be in our hearts. Michael Jackson had vitiligo, and I never once doubted him. When you have vitiligo and lupus, it makes the areas of original skin color very small, Michael didn’t want people focusing on his skin and blotches, so he underwent treatment called de-pigmentation, which basically gets rid of the original color of your skin to even out the blotches. And Michael did not adopt his kids, they are his own biological children. Just look at Blanket, he looks exactly like Michael did when he was young. I never once doubted you Michael, not in 1993 or in 2004 or any time. R.I.P MJ, the Greatest Entertainer of all Time!
