I think you are taking things a bit too seriously. For one if you don’t like the site and what people say then boycott it and don’t visit the site anymore. There’s plenty of blog sites created by homosexuals that bash straight people and their ways which is why I choose not to visit that site for I am a straight person and is offended.
Also let me school you on this word that so many homosexuals throw in straight people face, “Homophobic or homophobia.” We know what homo represents, but the term phobia relates to a stream of anxiety disorders caused by a persistent fear of activities, situations, people, animals etc. The term homophobia came about back in the days when straight people thought homosexuality was a type of virus that was extremely contagious, obviously proven wrong. Today most of you guys use it when someone disagrees with your sexual lifestyle, which is a misuse of the word. I have a bestfriend who is gay and I love her to death because we were friends for years. I still to this day disagree with her lifestyle, but I love her to death and we still hang out like normal. She chooses not to share that part of her life with me, but when she needs me I’m always there for her. You can disagree and still like a person. Doesn’t mean you’re homophobic.

I have lived in Montreal and London and been able to get a more global view and black women of the world, the US in particular, are seen as neck shiftin’, eye rollin’, finger waggin’, loud talkin’, ball breakin’ gold diggin’ and promiscuous. These ladies (and I use the term loosely) have just added fight pickin’ to the already long list of negatives against us.
I for one am sick of having to explain that every image on television is not like me. If you don’t look like Halle, the world puts you in that category. Black men right along with them. Then those of us that don’t act that way are accused of being out of touch or “trying to be white.” It’s ridiculous!
There is no justification for that kind of behavior. If we okay that, we okay every other kind of violence. At the end of the day, it’s a basketball game. And no game is worth losing your self respect, especially not on a world stage.

I get what your saying that the NBA wasn’t popular at first but thats a completely different time then now. Now we have TV’s in almost every home, plus the internet, plus all sorts of media resources to get the WNBA exposure. People really don’t care. I’m not a sexist or any thing I just don’t think the WNBA is ever going to hit off. Like I said when will dudes ever sit around watching the WNBA game…thats like asking guys to care about womens world cup soccer. Unless the girls stop wearing bras during the games and they increase the fights the WNBA will never be popular.
