I get what your saying that the NBA wasn’t popular at first but thats a completely different time then now. Now we have TV’s in almost every home, plus the internet, plus all sorts of media resources to get the WNBA exposure. People really don’t care. I’m not a sexist or any thing I just don’t think the WNBA is ever going to hit off. Like I said when will dudes ever sit around watching the WNBA game…thats like asking guys to care about womens world cup soccer. Unless the girls stop wearing bras during the games and they increase the fights the WNBA will never be popular.

I for one am sick of having to explain that every image on television is not like me. If you don’t look like Halle, the world puts you in that category. Black men right along with them. Then those of us that don’t act that way are accused of being out of touch or “trying to be white.” It’s ridiculous!

There is no justification for that kind of behavior. If we okay that, we okay every other kind of violence. At the end of the day, it’s a basketball game. And no game is worth losing your self respect, especially not on a world stage.

Granted, every sport has it’s homosexual players, but seriously, enough with the lesbian jokes. As a heterosexual female who grew up looking up to female athletes, I find it offensive. And for the men who put them down, are you jealous that you didn’t have the skills to become a professional athlete so you have to call these hard working women lesbians to make yourself feel better?
