ONE OF MY MY*****E BLOGS…JUST FELT LIKE SHARING..
In the past year I have learned a very vital life lesson. In essence, it is something that I’ve internally lived by all along. But it took for several situations to occur here lately to make it all ring true. See I’ve always held on to the belief that within the first meeting with another individual, it takes maybe the first 20-30 minutes of conversation to really feel that person out. Within an hour, (if it gets that far, depending on the situation) you can generally tell what type of individual youre dealing with. If you begin to build a relationship/friendship with this person, within the first month, you have an opportunity to become well aware of what youre up against, or willing to stand with. In closing, there is no such thing as “hidden behavior” or “he/she wasnt like that when i met him/her”. The person showed you exactly who they were in the first portion of your meeting. It was up to you to take note of the clues, and sometimes inuendos that led to the destructive display of ignorance you may be seing months or even years down the line. I say this to say….WHEN SOMEONE SHOWS YOU WHO THEY ARE, BELIEVE THEM!! TAKE HEED!! AND IF THE GRIP ON THOSE SNEAKS ARE TIGHT ENOUGH,,,RUN!!!(lol) You just may be saving yourself alot of heartache, pain, and frustration in the end.

AFTER 27 YEARS OF BEING ABLE TO ENCOUNTER MANY DIFFERENT KINDS OF PEOPLE WITH A VARIETY OF PERSONALITIES. IVE COME TO A FEW CONCLUSIONS. NOW BEFORE I GO ANY FURTHER, I MUST SAY TO ANYONE WHO READS WHAT I AM ABOUT TO SAY, I DONT GIVE 2 STEAMING PILES OF COW DUNG IF ONE DISAGREES WITH THE IDEAS THAT FOLLOW.(JUST SERIOUS) THERE HAVE BEEN MANY OF TIMES IVE HEARD THE STATEMENT MADE, “JOHNNY HAS ALL THE BOOK SENSE IN THE WORLD, BUT NO COMMON SENSE.” OR “SUSIE HAS PLENTY OF STREET SENSE, BUT NO COMMON SENSE.” THE REALITY OF IT IS THAT IVE FOUND THIS TO BE SO UNTRUE. YOU SEE IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO TAP INTO EITHER OF THOSE REALMS OF YOUR THINKING, YOU MUST FIRST HAVE THE COMMON SENSE TO DO SO. EVERY INDIVIDUAL HAS AN APPLICABLE AMOUNT OF COMMON SENSE. THE QUESTION IS, HOW MANY OF US MAKE THE DIVINE CHOICE TO APPLY IT TO *ALL* SITUATIONS AND MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION AFTERWARD? YOU SEE, IF YOU CAN LOOK ME DEAD IN THE FACE AND TELL ME THAT YOU KNOW SOMETHING IS WRONG, OR DOESNT SEEM CORRECT, YET YOU CHOOSE TO CONTINUE IN THAT PATH, THEN YOU DONT LACK COMMON SENSE. NO, NOT AT ALL. YOU’RE JUST A PLAIN OLE SCREWBALL IDIOT. WHICH IS SOLELY YOURE OWN CHOICE. IN SAYING ALL THIS, I WILL CONCLUDE BY STATING THAT I AM NOT ONE WHO SEEKS SYMPATHY. I ACKNOWLEDGE WHEN I MAKE A FOOLISH DECISION, AND I DEAL WITH IT ACCORDINGLY THERE AFTER. ALWAYS MAKING IT AN IMPORTANT REMINDER TO LEARN FROM THE PREVIOUS MISTAKE SO THAT IT DOESNT GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO REPEAT. IF YOU ARE THE KIND OF PERSON WHO IS VERY AWARE, AND YET YOU KEEP JUMPING INTO THE FIRE, TRUST YOU’LL RECIEVE NO SYMPATHY FROM ME. YOU ARE WELL AWARE OF WHAT YOU’RE DOING. YOU’VE GOT THE *COMMON SENSE* ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT IT MIGHT NOT BE GOOD FOR YOU, JUST AS YOU KNEW I WOULD TELL YOU WHEN YOU SOUGHT MY ADVICE THE FIRST 50 TIMES BEFORE YOU REPEATED IT FOR THE 51ST. IF YOU CHOOSE TO BE A JACK*****, BE ONE PROUDLY, AND QUIETLY.(if you display your issues too loudly, everyone will know that youre stupid, thus making a fool of yourself on top of being willfully stupid) BE HAPPY WITH YOUR DECISION (if you walk around looking sad and depressed, many will begin to ask you whats wrong. thus causing you to explain, therefore making a fool of yourself, and ontop of everything, proving yet again that you are stupid) AND LEAVE ME THE HELL OUT OF THE EQUATION BEFORE I BE FORCED TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH. I completely reject the notion that being a unwed mother and/or having children with different men makes you a w***** or a bad mother. People get so caught up in labels and apperences that they make blanket judgements based on superficial bull*****. Every baby mama does not have loose morals and every “properly” wed mother isn’t virtuous (i.e. Brittany Spears).
There are a lot of benefits to being married before having kids but family structures that fall outside that standard are not inherently deficient. We have no reason to believe that Badu is not a responsible and upstanding mother and that the father of her children are not in their lives. We also have no reason to believe that her children and not happy and happy.
Badu has always carried herself with grace and dignity. She is a beautiful, intelligent, and creative woman. And her queendom is still intact. Peace.

Erykah is just a frazzled woman, plain and simple… She brags about the power she has over men…obviously she thinks highly of herself or rather of her perceived self and it’s all false…some cultivated false sense of security to hide the fact that she’s just a woman looking for love.
