*****roach wouldn’t cut his hair. Cosby asked him over and over, he wouldn’t do it so he got canned. It’s not blackballed, it’s business, and following the rules and regulations of your employment. *****roach was an idiot. Dude didn’t work for years after that until “Martin”. And since he left “Martin” he’s fallen on bad times. Bad investments, even stealing a car. Loser.

Terrance could have been paranoid but, having said that, Bill Cosby is being known for a being a hard-***** behind the scenes. He’s not all that nurturing in person as Cliff Huxtable. And it good have been a case where Bill could have just talked to somebody in the industry, just saying something off the cuff and that second person took it and told somebody else. Sometimes that’s all it takes to ***** up somebody’s career. You gotta understand, ‘Cosby’ was the number one show at the time and whatever Bill said, on the record or off, carried a lot of weight. It would be effortless to screw things up for an insignificant, eighteen year old Black actor who’s just starting out.

As a matter of fact, I’ve taken a lot of people under my wing from the time I was 15 years old, mentoring, teaching, helping people fill out college and graduate school applications, editing resumes, etc. The crime statistics are bad in Selma and Birmingham, but they are nothing like Philly and Detroit and I’ve seen the differences between those places firsthand, for example. Lots of people are poor in the deep South, but you can buy a home as a working cl***** person and have some economic stability which is very difficult in most Northern cities. That’s the whole reason for the “reverse migration.” But more importantly, to basically refer to a whole region of people as being like animals is just wrong period. Why not talk about all the meticulously clean homes, the beautifully dressed children, the church communities, the neighborhoods where the lawns are perfectly tended even in front of shotgun houses. The woman screaming obscenities at her child in the mall is not the norm and anyone who is honest and has a basic modi***** of respect for other human beings will admit that. Of course, internalized racism is another alternative…

I think Realmatic speaks from experience. U gotta watch yourself in Hollywood kids. respect respect respect them creepy folks in that town.

Also, anyone with aspirations about going to HW should get their head checked. It is a nasty ***** town that requires you to sell your soul.

And Cosby told Bonet not to do angel heart or whatever b/c it would ***** up the show and her image. It did and she got the boot.Period!

As for T. Howard, he’s probably using his star power as a superman “S” to get answers about a time when he was starting out and perceived that he got *****ed. It’s called posturing.

He had Terrance blackballed for what? Because Terrance was an unstoppable force in acting that was going to take Bill “I made a bid to by a Network I’m that Paper Heavy” Cosby?

Come on. Terrance was a two-bit actor at that time and now he’s a two-and-a-half bit actor. And I LIKE Terrence Howard, he’s absolutely one of my favorite actors.

More likely, Terrence came in there and showed his ***** and Bill probably made an off-the-cuff comment about Terrence confronting him in a disrespectful way to a casting agent or manager who, on his on volition decided to steer clear of Terrence and may have spread the word about his prima donna behavior.

The thing is, if you are disrespectful to an industry giant like Cosby, especially during that Cosby Show run, Bill doesn’t have to say or do a thing, people are around him that will watch his back without him even knowing.
