Here is Trick Daddy’s response to the rumors that he leaked the Rick Ross C.O. photos:

“We don’t deal with rap beef down here. That’s not in our character. That’s not something we do. We’re the only city that ever gets compared to other people’s entire states. Whoever put my name in this is really attacking all of us. I told Ross he needs to have better people around him. He needs better publicists, so that he can avoid even being asked those type of funny questions. I been in this game for thirteen years, and anybody who’s ever listened to my music knows Trick Daddy is very smart. I know when somebody’s trying to use me and pull me into some s**t. But the people doing this need to understand what their words can do too. When you start talking about beef, and creating [situations] between people from the same hood, you gotta realize that that beef s**t can end with one man in jail and another man gone.”

“So what if he [was]. That just means he avoided something a lot of us in the hood haven’t, including me. I’m not proud of being an ex-con. Now that means I always got one foot in and one foot on a banana peel. I’m not proud of the things I did to land in that position.”

Trick Daddy or (Ice Cube)is one of the few rappers I would listen to. If you actually listen to their words they are trying to deliver a message, the way rap used to be. Say what you want but he is a smart person. He may not have degrees but what he has to say is worth listening to. I’m happy he said he’s not proud of being an ex-con. That’s nothing to be proud of.

FYI – If you’ve ever been to Miami, Fl. and seen the difference between the neighborhoods, you would understand why he said ‘When you start talking about beef, and creating [situations] between people from the same hood, you gotta realize that that beef s**t can end with one man in jail and another man gone’. There is no middle cl*****. Either you have money to live in places out of the ghetto like Coconut Grove or you live in the ghetto. Most of these “fake” rappers come from middle cl***** families. Believe it or not some even went to college or have a degree. Every thing people market is not real. Wake up and understand that before you start beef because your favorite “celeb” has beef.

For those of us who have lived in the ghetto you know the life. And like he said you know what happens when you get “real” beef (no security or fake studio talk) in the hood. You have 2 options jail or someone unfortunately dies. Since when is it cool to start beef.

Rick was like “Really?” Like he thought that was his dude, and I immediately thought he was being set up to say something about Trick. Trick kept it 100%. I think Rick Ross went out like a sucker, for the simple fact that he was going by hear say. Everyone knows that if Trick have a beef with anybody you would hear it straight from his mouth. Foe example, when he called out Plies. Rick also lost cool points for lying. I don’t understand these rappers these days. Why is it so hard to admit that you had a legal job at one point and that your a educated. Am I missing something here? Because they are doing exactly what those who sterotype us want us to do. They want us to act ignorant and promote violence among each other.Take for instance, everyone down in florida knows Plies ( Algernod washington) he went to college and very intelligent. But he doesn’t want to promote that image because the industry wants him to believe that it won’t sell. But it seeems that the industry leaves them high and dry when it time to answer the questions to their checkered past.I have been a loyal Trick Daddy fan for almost 12 years now, he has always had some type of message in his music whether its education, incarceration, homelessness, and etc. Granted he also has his music to reach the d-boys and the goons but there is a message also in there for them also. With that being said why, are these rappers pertraying a life that they wouldn’t want their own kids to live.The point I am trying to make is? Damn, ***** I guess Rick shouldn’t have lied.
