Tiger may be out of the Woods… for now. After delivering his public statement the golf champ returned to his home in Windermere, Fla. where an eyewitness says his wife Elin Nordegren joined him. Pop the hood for more.

Tiger arrived home at about 4:00 pm as part of a four-car motorcade. About 40 minutes later, Elin arrived at the house. Sources say security in the gated community has been ramped up with Tiger’s own private security, with teams set up outside the house, at the end of the street, and at the lake behind his house.

And while he’s probably still in pretty hot water with Elin, one woman in his life is showing him unconditional love — his Mommy.

After Tiger’s apology speech, his mom Kultida told reporters she’s “so proud to be his mother. Period.” She believes her son is a good man who happened to make a mistake. She added, “He didn’t kill anybody. He didn’t do anything illegal … People don’t understand that Tiger has a very good heart and soul.”

She also had some words for the haters: “If anyone tells me to condemn him, I say look at yourself first.”

Aw… the Mama Tiger so protective of her cub!!! Somebody should tell her that while he didn’t kill anybody, he certainly could have. Unprotected sex can be a deadly weapon these days!
