While much of Cheetah Woods televised apology rang hollow, he wasn’t “Lion” about one thing — going back to rehab. Tiger said he had plans to return to rehab and according to recent reports, he and his family headed out of town together this weekend so he can spend a week in another facility.
BOSSIP has learned that Tiger and his wife and cubs did not head to Mississippi where he was previously treated, instead opting for another facility in Arizona.
RadarOnline.com reported that Tiger, his wife Elin Nordegren and their two kids all flew out of Orlando, Fla., together on Saturday night and that he did not go back to Gentle Path in Hattiesburg, Miss., where he was in rehab last month.
Instead, Woods and his family landed in Scottsdale, Ariz., where he is expected to be for the next week.
“Elin may not stay the entire week with him,” a source told RadarOnline. “She’s taking the marriage one day at a time.”
Before boarding the plane, the 34-year-old golfer and Nordegren played tennis together in Orlando, The Sun of London reported.
They left for the airport in separate cars, but were seen boarding a private jet together, shrouded by heavy security, the newspaper reported.
As for Friday’s televised confession, Nordegren’s friend told The Sun that it “was totally for Elin” for him to grovel on TV.
“And it kind of worked,” the friend said.
“She feels sorry for him and doesn’t want to make him do this alone,” the friend added. “But getting back together is another issue. He’s still got so far to go.”
So the world had to suffer through that humiliating display of theatrics just so Tiger could get back in Elin’s good graces? We feel you Tiger, it’s definitely cheaper to keep her!!!
Elin, have a heart, Tiger can’t help it if he’s the cat’s meow!!!
