I would take provocative pictures for the right publication. I love Pin Ups, and actually collect some Pin Up memorabilia (Black pin ups are hard to find, and expensive). There’s actually a guy in Dallas that does a lot of music videos and calendars, promotional pictures, and works for Smooth and freelances for other publications, he’s tried to hit me up TWICE just because of my butt. I’ve seen some of the girls he’s photographed, and they’re butterfaces until that makeup artist, hairstylist and airbrush expert get ahold of their pictures.
I’d take a picture like Tatyana Ali’s picture for Smooth, sexy but cl*****y. I’d take artsy pictures for Vogue or a fashion magazine, but no butt cheek shots for Maxim/Smooth/XXL/King/Vibe etc.
Seezins was nasty and dumb just like the rest of them. Just because she went to school doesn’t put her a step above any of them. She may as well been Thing 3 or 4. They are all nasty.

@Slide: When I was stationed in California, (and had the tight body of a 25-year-old), I spent a huge load of cash on a Playboy photographer and did a calendar for my man who was in the Marines and overseas in Desert Storm. Yep – I showed nips and all – no crotch shots (think Playboy, not Hustler). It cost $2000 back then, and it was only 7 pictures (Cover page and a photo for every two months), but I felt beautiful, and I did it mainly for me and I wanted to send him something to look forward to. Hell – we were at war, and every man needs a pinup. Might as well be me! The pictures were tasteful enough to show my mother. I managed to get those pictures back from my ex, but I do not regret it.
Would I do it again? I would cover more parts up, but if it’s tasteful, and you aren’t forced into it, why not? I’m older now, and perhaps I may need airbrushing, but I know what I’m working with, I will find a reputable photographer (ask to see portfolios, baby), and I will be comfortable in my skin.
But the pose with the ***** tooted up in the air is soooo old. Just my opinion.

Personally, I wouldn’t do it(a public photo shoot anyway). For many reasons, but one, I’m really insecure about my body. I think as a female, we often see the flaws that others (mostly men) might not notice. My body is banging, but i still find imperfections that make me feel less than perfect. However, I’m secure enough to do it in private. I did decide to steal Kim K’s idea and do a calendar for my man this year as a Xmas gift, but because i know he would NEVER share that with anyone and its something i know he’d adore. But i think it depends on the woman, as far as the amount. If she feels like she’s the best thing since sliced bread, she’d want more money, naturally. If she felt average, she probably want average pay.
