The reason why people leave their kids with pedeatricians and other doctors is because a doctor is a highly respectable occupation. People assume that if you cant trust you doctor who can you trust? On another note, if you guys have personal relatioships with a doctor, say a relative or a close friend, they happen to have the best stories in the world. LOL.

Unless your kid is in surgery, there is no reason that a doctor should be alone with your child. Even in surgery, there are other doctors, nurses, etc. present.

I feel terrible for those poor parents. What an enormous violation of trust. It’s a shame we don’t tar and feather people anymore.

I wish my toddler age children wouldn’t have been in the room when I read this article. Looking at them and thinking of precious babies having to endure something that horrific made me physically ill. Those children must have been terrified, knowing their parent’s were right in the next room, but couldn’t save them. How can people(I use that term loosely) do something like that to a child? A BABY? I hope they don’t protect this bastard from getting what he deserves when he gets to prison.
I would never let my children go in another room with a pediatrician without me. But I don’t blame the parents. He probably convinced them that it’s easier to get the children to be calm and learn to trust the doctor. I don’t see how that tactic would be effective more than once on the same child, however. Wouldn’t the parents note the distraught state that their children had to have returned in? God, I’m feeling sick again. It’s sad that we can’t trust doctors, or anyone else, for that matter. These sick bastards are becoming doctors, teachers, pastors, etc., just in order to have more access to our children. Jesus take the wheel, indeed.

Thats crazy, I feel that though its never too late for anyone unless there dead to be rehabilitated I do believe most choose not to be, which stumbles there ability to change. Such issues like this in this world are big examples on how evil has no exact look. You can never what most people truly are about and capable of. Thats why you trust no one but God.

Sorry people like him cannot be rehabilitated. The death penalty is in order. Plain and simple.

some forget, some just dont follow protocol. oh no im my kids advocates. as a parent youre suppose to be. if something dont feel right , then its not right. it had to cross some of these parents mind why cant i be allowed in the room with my child. this doesnt make sense at all.

There was a music teacher here in Chi who would teach the young kids how to play piano and put them on his lap as he taught them. Parents would bring their kids to music class and leave them and guess what!!!!! He was arrested for molesting most of those children he taught. It is not safe anymore to even leave your children alone with certain family and friends!!!!

What stupid parents! How can you leave a 2 year old alone with a doctor? I took my son to the pediatician from birth to about 12 years now his father goes with him and have always been with him while the doctor is examining him. NEVER LEAVE YOUR CHILD ALONE WITH THE DOCTOR NO MATTER WHAT HE SAYS UNLESS HE IS IN THE OPERATING ROOM WHERE OTHER NURSES AND DOCS ARE AROUND HIM.

This is horrible! I really don’t understand why some of the children never said anything to their parents. Some of the kids were molested over years, but never said a word? There were so many victims, I don’t get that–very odd. And usually children that are being sexually abused get depressed and show behavior that isn’t normal. Some of these parents must’ve had their heads in the sand and/or ignored their kids comments because he was a physician. This sicko taped that sh it so they have tons of evidence. The good Dr. is gonna get his. Prison is not kind to those that abuse children.

I live near this same community. As a child, all the men would molested me were all black. its the community for not believing children who speak up about their past experiences. It’s the small town mindset that when you come forward, that you asked for it. Like everyone else I hate to blame the parents. However, I work in healthcare and parents are told to stay with their children in the exam room.
Like Black Barbie said adolescents are usually left alone for a dew minutes if the doctor needs to ask the kids about sexual activity or anything else they might not want to say in front of their parents.
Even male gyn doctors have a chaperone so they won’t be accused of improper behavior.

Seriously, why leave your child in a room alone with anyone if you don’t have to? I have NEVER taken my son to the Dr. and left him alone for even one second and not out of fear of anyone molesting him, but for the simple fact that I am his mother and that is my job!

I completely agree! I mean what could these children do against a 225 pound man? See, if I was one of the parents I would have been the one going to jail for killing his a.s.s. Why would the stupid parents send a child in to see a doctor by themselves? Didn’t the parents notice how their children were behaving after a doctor’s visit? I know doctor’s are scarce in some parts of our country but I think I would have driven the extra miles in order to see another doctor because he looked too scary.

All too often you have certain parents who think, “It can’t happen here, that only happens in urban areas.” B*llsh*t can happen anywhere and as a parent you must be vigilant and you are your child’s best advocate/defender. This is extremely sad.

First off, it was me AND my 2 younger sisters AND my mom AND my aunt AND maybe another family member in the room w/the Doc.
Second… i would NEVA EVAH EVAH EVAH go to see THIS man as a pediatrician much less LEAVE my child…my INFANT/TODDLER A-L-O-N-E w/this creepy looking sasquatch!! And if was the ONLY one in the town, then I guess my a.s.s would be LIVING in some medical books to become my child’s own pediatrician!
